Jill Biden's Debate-Night Dress Sent an Important Message About Climate Change

Although our first glimpse at a Jill Biden fashion statement was quite literal - she wore a pair of Stuart Weitzman "Vote" boots while leaving the polls - her second was less obvious, but just as important. Dr. Biden showed up to the first 2020 presidential debate between Donald Trump and her husband, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, and this time around, she wasn't wearing any slogans that made her message explicit; instead, she wore a jewel-toned fringe cocktail dress by Gabriela Hearst. It was perfectly appropriate, complete with an envelope-style clutch, Valentino Rockstud heels, pearl drop earrings, and her Athleta face mask, worn out of respect and for the safety of those around her.

Hearst's dress was not just appropriate, it was a repurposed look from fall 2017 that Jill previously wore to the fifth annual Save the Children Illumination Gala three years ago in New York City, and then again for a 2020 appearance on MSNBC. Not only is rewearing an article of clothing, rather than purchasing something new, a sustainable practice, but this dress is also specifically made from recycled fabrics, as Hearst's brand is wholeheartedly committed to eco-fashion, which you can read about on her website.

"What a surprise and honor to see that at last night's debate Dr Jill Biden repurposed a GH dress she wore three years ago. Climate change is the biggest threat we are facing as a species. Sadly what we lost we can't recover (60% of wild life in 50 years) but we can preserve and restore. We need the policy to do it and there is only one side right now unfortunately that is willing to admit what is real against all scientific proof. Vote this November," Gabriela Hearst wrote on Instagram underneath a picture of the Bidens on stage.

Here, Hearst brings the conversation about Jill's style move full circle, in order to make the connection about how our clothing choices affect the environment. We're guessing Gabriela Hearst isn't the only eco-friendly brand in Jill Biden's wardrobe, and we commend her for her outfit choice at the first debate - which we're delighted to bring to your attention since you may not have noticed, due to some other blood-boiling distractions.

Von Dutch Is Staging a Comeback, and It Starts With These Revived Jeans From 2005

Everything old is new again - and we mean everything. Following the recent return of similarly flashy 2000s brands like Kangol and Juicy Couture (albeit via collaborations and capsule collections), Von Dutch is too making a comeback. Though the brand has quietly been stocking its site with nostalgic garb for some time, it's now plotting a transition into the luxury market under the name Von Dutch Paris.

The plan begins with jeans: To kick things off, Von Dutch has rereleased two flared, low-rise pairs that haven't been sold since 2005. Then, later this fall, Von Dutch plans to release a premium denim collection with prices starting at $500. Eventually, there will also be footwear, outerwear, and accessories at a similarly high price point. Overseeing it all is Creative Director Earl Pickens, an alum of Jean Charles de Castelbajac and Marlboro International Sportswear, among other brands.

To exist in the present, however, Von Dutch will need to confront its deeply problematic namesake. Many may not know this, but Von Dutch was the nickname of Kenny Howard, an infamous car customizer who was racist, anti-Semitic, and a self-described "admirer of the Third Reich." (In fact, Von Dutch translates to "By German.") Following his death in 1992, Howard's daughters sold the nickname to fashion entrepreneurs Michael Cassel and Robert Vaughn, who then established the Von Dutch brand with Christian Audigier of Ed Hardy fame.

This history understandably made Earl, who is Black, hesitant to take on the gig. "My eyes popped out and I said, anything but that company, that's the last place I want to go," he recently told WWD. "I have kids, my kids are interracial, and I'm working for a guy who has a name like that. But I don't see it that way, because I've moved so far away from what he is."

Though it's currently hard to imagine what Von Dutch's luxury line might look like, there seems to already be an interested audience, with Gen Z stars like Skai Jackson and Emma Chamberlain already its trucker hats and bowling bags. See the photos of them sporting Von Dutch ahead, and browse the brand's new denim collection campaign.

Paris Fashion Week Street Style Is Rife With Genuinely Cool Outfits Again

The crowds are smaller and the show schedule lighter, but the street style coming out of a socially distant Paris Fashion Week still delivers big on outfit inspiration. In fact, with less attention on trends and mega influencers, the showgoers are embracing personal style with new fervor. The looks - which largely include masks - reflect individual styling whims that remind us how unique and uplifting fashion can be.

There were quilted jackets worn with Western belts, slick leather outerwear, and big furry coat sleeves in this set. Style ran the gamut, giving us transitional fashion that looked, well, however you want it to. Bring the outfit ideas right to your own closet when you scroll through for the best looks so far.

In a Collaboration I Never Saw Coming, Vans and MoMA Made the Coolest Merch Ever

We see fashion as a form of art, so when clothing brands we love create pieces with fine artists, it's like a perfect match. Vans, the sneaker and apparel brand we all know and love, has collaborated with the Museum of Modern Art in New York, more commonly known as MoMA, for a capsule collection. The first drop features three of the world's most beloved artists, Claude Monet, Salvador Dalí, and Vasily Kandinsky.

The brand has created sneakers, hoodies, and hats based on one of each artist's most famous paintings. The results are elevated, cool, and totally unique. Plus, true to Vans's brand ethos, none of the pieces are over $90. Keep on reading to shop our favorite new streetwear collection.

25 Pieces That'll Show 'Em You're Ready to Vote - Because November Can't Come Soon Enough

If you've ever doubted the power of your vote before, look around. The results of elections from local and state levels to the senate and the presidency have never been more apparent, and it's obvious we need change. So voting is pretty f*cking important and we're getting fired up for the 2020 election.

Enthusiasm from the fashion world is coming in the form of a range of cool tees and designer merch, all branded with the important reminder to V-O-T-E. Maybe you're all about the sweet look of a handmade Lingua Franca sweater that comes embroidered with the ever-relevant, "nevertheless, she voted", or you're eying the urgent call to action on La Ligne and Cleo Wade's cool collab: "F*cking Vote." In any case, this is a fashion statement we can all get behind - and more importantly, take to heart.

Know your rights, register, and get ready to vote in November (or sooner if you can!) - because there's too much at stake not to.

We'd Like to Buy Meghan Markle's Relaxed Button-Down in All 16 Colors

Meghan Markle attended Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit virtually, stationed at her home in Santa Barbara, CA - the same spot from which she tuned into America's Got Talent the week before. Meghan proves she's still got a handle on dressing to work from home, choosing to debut a new blue-and-white-striped, casual button-down from With Nothing Underneath, which is a brand she's worn before. This particular design, which comes in 15 other colorways, retails for $110 and went perfectly with Meghan's layered gold jewelry, including turquoise Jennifer Meyer earrings, a delicate pendant necklace, and a stack of bracelets.

Meghan touched on serious issues when she spoke about some of her past speeches and how her words can often be misinterpreted by the media, but she pulled it off with poise. It's probably not a stretch to say that when Meghan's dressed in something comfortable yet polished, it's certainly easier for her to keep her cool confidence - and that's something we can all learn from. If you like Meghan's appropriate outfit choice as much as we do, we shopped out her exact shirt ahead, along with some similar options at various price points. Scroll through to watch her snippet from the summit, then choose a new button-down for your closet. We highly suggest wearing it when you're in work mode, too.

Dior Still Lacks Diversity and Instead Gives Us Tie-Dye and Balloon Sleeves in a Somber Palette

I can't say I've ever been impressed by Dior's commodity feminism, but I am relieved that they tried something new for Spring/Summer 2021. Maria Grazia Chiuri's inspirations for the new collection were clear - looking at fashion through the eye of divine creation, with cuttings of poetry and images being sewn together like a stained-glass window in a cathedral - but the actual clothes told a different story.

Dior's 2021 aesthetic is inspired by famed Italian artist Lucia Marcucci and authors such as Virginia Woolf and Susan Sontag. The clothes have mixed bohemian paisley and floral prints, with patchworks of scarves, and lace accents featured on empire-waist maxi dresses, trousers, and co-ordinated sets. There were also Japanese and Indonesian inspirations seen in Kimono-inspired jackets and Mandarin collars. Although the palette of the collection doesn't strike us with divine inspiration, we did enjoy the more casual styles of tie-dye loungewear and on-trend balloon sleeves. Dior's clothing is always undeniably beautiful, but we would have liked to see more ethnic and size diversity on the catwalk and a color palette that brought us a bit of joy in somber times.

Ahead, a look at the Dior Spring/Summer 2021 collection.

Maisie Williams and Reuben Selby Make Quite the Pair in Their Matching Fashion Week 'Fits

Maisie Williams and her boyfriend, Reuben Selby, are bringing their matching style moments back for Paris Fashion Week, and we are more than ready. The couple are well-known for keeping things complementary for public appearances, and Sept. 29's Dior Womenswear show was no different.

Maisie opted for an oversize parka and midcalf rain boots both bearing the iconic Dior logo plus a khaki-colored face mask and a velvet bag. Reuben, on the other hand, kept the neutral tones going with his trench coat and over-the-shoulder Dior saddle bag, plus black trousers and patent-leather shoes displaying the designer's name. Get a closer look at the couple's outfits ahead. We can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Outfit Obsession: Kerry Washington's Palm-Tree Dress Makes Fall Feel Like Vacation Season

Kerry Washington has been pretty busy and somehow still found the time to post up in the yard for some makeshift "vacation" style selfies in her palm-tree-print maxi dress. From speaking at the Democratic National Convention to helping Reese Witherspoon throw an impromptu "New Year's Eve" party at the Emmys in stunning Oscar de la Renta and Dolce & Gabbana dresses (which she then put up for auction to raise money for When We All Vote), it's safe to say she's had more on her agenda than Olivia Pope.

That just makes us appreciate the feel-good, be-free vibes she brought to our feeds even more. Kerry's #FashionFriday is more like our fashion every day mood. Her house dress of choice is FARM Rio's Swinging Palm Linen midi, which has long sleeves and beaded tassels. It's airy and fresh - especially when complete with those funky oversize circular sunglasses and layered jewelry - and clearly ideal for posing selfie style. And yes, even though we normally think of palm trees as a summertime print, we still see no reason not to indulge in this addition to our wardrobes, just to let the sunshine in. Anyway, it'll help us look forward to a vacation in the future. Scroll through to shop Kerry's exact design, along with similar options at different price points.

Tyler the Creator, ASAP Rocky, and Iggy Pop Look Like Total Rockstars in Gucci's New Campaign

Gucci has tapped three big musicians for its latest men's tailoring collection: Tyler the Creator, ASAP Rocky, and Iggy Pop. The trio star in the '70s-inspired campaign which was shot with photographer and director Harmony Korine to create images of "an archetypical rock star lifestyle." (The campaign was shot back in February.) Interestingly enough, Iggy's pet parrot, Biggy Pop, made an appearance in the photoshoot and really made the campaign one of a kind.

This isn't the first time the brand has tapped musicians to star in the its campaigns. Previously, Gucci had released a campaign for its Off the Grid collection featuring Lil Nas X and Jane Fonda. In the latest collab, Tyler, ASAP, and Iggy show off the brand's suiting that comes in a variety of materials like suede, and bold colors like burgundy, forest green, and cheetah-print. As for the accessories, we see a wide variety of '70s wide-frame glasses, bucket hats, logo-covered vests, and handbags. My personal favorite is Tyler's plaid bucket hat paired with a red suit, socks, and leather loafers. ASAP's Barbie pink sweater vest came in a close second. Keep reading to get a closer look at the campaign imagery ahead.

Serena Williams's Extraordinary Sneaker Collection Is a Winner in Our Eyes

I don't think that it'll come as a shock to anyone that Serena Williams has a pretty extensive collection of sneakers. After all, we've been talking about her legendary on-court fashion just as much as her incredible tennis career. While Serena may be an outfit risk-taker on and off the court, one thing you can always count on is for her sneakers to be just as bold.

Since Serena has a partnership with Nike, a majority of the kicks you'll see her wear are from the famous footwear brand. The thing that is so awesome about her sneaker rotation is that she constantly comes up with custom styles for major matches and events. (She even made a pair of custom Swarovski Nikes for her wedding reception.)

In a total sneakerhead move, the tennis champion wore a pair of neon yellow Nike x Off-White sneakers underneath her Versace gown at the 2019 Met Gala; and one of our favorite looks has to be when she wore a pair of glitter-covered Off-White Nikes at the 2018 US Open. Since Serena has had plenty of memorable sneaker moments throughout the years, we decided to take a look back at her top 15 styles. Keep reading to see some of those standout moments ahead.

Pardon the Pun, But the Madewell x Kule Collab Is the Epitome of Cool, Effortless Style

The clothes we're shopping right now are comfortable basics we know we can wear for years to come, but we like those basics to have a little nod to our personal style. That's why we're crushing hard on the new Madewell x Kule collaboration, which, if you ask us, is pretty cool. Kule is a New York based label that creates clothes we'd call part classic Americana and part effortless French-girl chic. Combine that aesthetic with Madewell's classic-with-a-twist designs, and it doesn't get much better than this.

Whether you want a striped shirt you can wear all the time, the coolest, most modern denim silhouette, or a leopard beanie, these 13 pieces belong in your closet ASAP. We know we're ordering that cardigan right now, are you? Keep on reading to shop the collection.

Versace's Inclusion of Curve Models on the Runway Calls For a More Diverse Future

Versace's spring/summer 2021 runway included three curve models - Jill Kortleve, Alva Claire, and Precious Lee - three more than the fashion house has ever cast on the runway before, and one more than the number of curve models cast in fall 2020 shows in Milan last season. Yup, last Fashion Week, Milan saw a single pair of curve model castings, both at Fendi. Kortleve was one of them. In total, the fall 2020 curve model castings in all four cities - New York, London, Milan, and Paris - topped off at 46, whereas that number was 86 the season before.

But for spring 2021, Donatella Versace called for a refresh. Aside from the fact that her Versacepolis show - with a utopian underwater theme that invited us to escape into a "sub-surface fantasy" with its new rendition of the Gianni Versace 'trésor de la mer' seashell motifs from 1992 - was not staged typically, it also carried a more fervent message than collections past. Donatella's decision to host a socially distanced runway show came with a few caveats. In fact, the people in the audience were her own team, all of whom tested negatively for COVID-19 prior to the event. "I thought that this was the perfect chance for me to gift a beautiful experience to all the amazing people who worked so hard to make it happen," Donatella said of the front row, which is usually, under regular circumstances, filled with celebrities.

Donatella has always boasted a positive message of female empowerment. I still remember watching the fall 2017 runway show from behind my computer screen, with slogans like equality, unity, and courage booming from the speakers and echoed on clothing from start to finish. But surely, if we were supposed to be celebrating everyone, that should've been reflected by a diverse lineup of models with many different body types. I wish I had done more then to call that out.

Iconic fashion houses like Versace have been preparing for traditional shows for years, with sample sizes on the runway, because that is the ideal method for designers to be conservative with fabric before pieces go into production. And Versace's legendary shows have been cast with the world's top celebrity supermodels - heck, even J Lo in spring 2020, who paid homage to her memorable palm print red carpet dress - so it comes at no surprise that a) this season's runway was still physical, not digital, b) 76 of the 79 total looks were sample size, and c) longtime muses of the house like Irina Shayk and Joan Smalls made an appearance on the catwalk. But the notable growth for the brand came with the inclusion of Jill Kortleve, Alva Claire, and Precious Lee, and that should be celebrated.

Precious Lee, Alva Claire, and Jill Kortleve celebrated their historical moment walking in the spring 2021 show on Instagram, Lee thanking Donatella for raising the bar in her heartfelt post. "This is such a historical moment and I can't believe it actually happened. I'm still shaking. I'm so so so proud of us @alvaclaire @preciousleexoxo. It's so unbelievable to work for brands I always dreamt of working for. I hope that we open the doors for a new generation with the same dreams but who never saw themselves in the magazines or the commercials. Thank you for this iconic moment @pg_dmcasting @samuel_ellis @donatella_versace @versace," Kortleve captioned a video of herself strutting in a sporty candy-stripe crop top and low-slung midi skirt with a buckle and cutout at the hips.

"I know there have always been women like me who are magnetically drawn to the art and fantasy that is unique to high fashion. We've always been here adoring from the outside but never feeling seen. For so long we never saw ourselves reflected back in the images we loved. To walk for Versace to is to begin to open the door further and make space for these important waves of change. There is still so much to be done but I'm honored to play a part and help to build the momentum," Alva Claire told POPSUGAR.

"I hope that curve models are present in Versace campaigns, that extended sizes are consistently offered online, and that the Versace muse does continue to look like a strong, confident woman at any shape or size beyond one season's sub-surface fantasy."

Before the show, Donatella told Vogue that her mission was to give fashion meaning at this crucial moment in time. "The world has changed and we have changed. We have been repeating this almost as a mantra for months, but at the end of the day, for a designer this means to start all over again," she said, explaining that the future of Versace, post-pandemic, means to uphold its role as "an example of inclusion, of mutual support, and acceptance of what is different from us." So it's imperative that we continue to see that inclusion - people of different races, with different body types, who come from different backgrounds - if that's the customer Versace is speaking to.

"Even if a designer has plus on the runway, reflected in the company's makeup and in the audience (another important consideration) - what happens after fashion week? Inclusivity is not a topic that should only be thought of two months out of the year," writer Gianluca Russo noted in her Fashionista report about diversity and size inclusivity for the fall 2020 fashion month season. She's right that we should not just get to see a glimpse of this during a 20-minute show. For that reason, I not only hope that we will see more than three curve models the next month out of the year that Donatella Versace chooses to present (likely February), but I hope that curve models are present in Versace campaigns, that extended sizes are consistently offered online, and that the Versace muse does continue to look like a strong, confident woman at any shape or size beyond one season's sub-surface fantasy.

Donatella famously dressed Lizzo for the 2020 Grammys back in January, marking the special moment on Instagram with a post on her personal account. "Such a #RedCarpet dream… Perfection!" she wrote. Like J Lo; like Lee, Claire, and Kortleve, Lizzo is certainly one star I can think of who is empowered to own her sex appeal like a true Versace muse.

We need to see more of that representation and inclusion among luxury fashion houses across the board - and not just on the runway or through the custom atelier pieces created for award shows. Ads make a statement, as Kortleve noted on Instagram, whether in the pages of a magazine or in the midst of our feed during our hourly scrolling on Instagram. And the availability of the runway clothing we see trickled down to stores at a wide range of sizes is of utmost importance. Because if fashion is for everyone, then shopping is too.

I think I can speak for the whole fashion community when I say that there is no better time than the present to start holding ourselves accountable. Though 2020 may be a pivotal moment for change, we've been waiting long enough to see size inclusivity carried out in ways that aren't just for show, encapsulated in a single, viral moment, but here for good.

This DIY Igloo Dress From the Lizzie McGuire Movie Is Exactly What Dreams Are Made Of

Hilary Duff's Lizzie McGuire fashion moments represent some of the finest style trends from the early aughts, and nearly 20 years after the show first aired, we're still tempted to try on some of her looks for ourselves. As a tribute to Lizzie's chic style, DIY fashion YouTuber April Yang (Coolirpa) re-created the iconic igloo dress from The Lizzie McGuire Movie, and as Isabella and Paolo might say, it's molto bella!

Inspired by the Franca DiMontecatini original, the igloo dress features a faux fur-lined hood, matching bell sleeves, a peek-a-boo igloo cutout at the front of the gown, pom pom buttons down the bodice, and a hand-painted silver ice block design. Just like Lizzie, April paired the look with faux fur-lined boots, and we can practically feel the snowflakes raining down around us. Check out the full video to find out exactly how to re-create this look for yourself ahead of Halloween.

Christian Siriano Designed This Powerful "Vote" Dress Before Any Other Piece in His Collection

While most fashion shows took place virtually, Christian Siriano showed his spring '21 collection - in association with Lowe's - at his own home, inviting a small crowd, which included Billy Porter, to gather poolside. (We're still not over a pregnant Coco Rocha closing out the show in a red ruffled gown and promptly jumping into the pool!) There was something so utterly refreshing about watching a fashion show come to life again, and we had the opportunity to chat with the designer about the experience.

In case you missed it, Christian, who isn't shy about making political statements, put out an important reminder to get out the vote: a memorable full-length black gown with the word "Vote" written all over it. Of course, that moment was top of mind as we talked to the designer about the new collection, how he manages to stay inspired while sheltering in place, and the upcoming election this year.

Keep scrolling to read our interview with Christian.

Topshop Does It Again! These 26 New Arrivals Are Totally Worth Adding to Your Cart

Leggings ARE Pants - Here's How to Style Them

Lately, I've been admiring all the great leggings outfits on Instagram. People seem to be genuinely excited to style outfits around them and sharing their looks proactively. I always find that some of my style icons who veer on the sportier side will, every so often, throw up a sports-bra mirror selfie or a quick snap after a yoga workout, but rarely are we thrilled to construct adorable looks with that new colorblock legging set we just added to our drawer.

Sheltering in place has seemed to change that, and I, for one, am glad for it. Even though there's definitely still a strong appeal behind the sweat-chic look - from white joggers to the high-waisted variation - leggings have always been a tried-and-true athleisure staple, and they're great for a quick walk around the block, too.

Some of our favorite leggings, from the likes of Tory Sport, Outdoor Voices, H&M, ASOS, and Universal Standard are also made with cute little details that elevate an outfit instantly. I frankly can't wait to tuck in my white tee to Zara's slit-hem pair and finish with a blazer, loafers, and headband for my next Zoom meeting (Blair Waldorf, but make it WFH fashion, am I right?). Scroll through for a few ideas, some of which have suggestions for outerwear, then shop some of my favorite leggings available now.

Bad Bunny Created Glow-in-the-Dark Crocs Just in Time For Halloween

Crocs has announced a collaboration with Bad Bunny, and it's far from ordinary. The singer and the footwear brand have partnered on a pair of classic clogs that . . . wait for it . . . glow in the dark! That's right, the singer has come out with Bad Bunny-inspired Jibbitz™ charms that take us back to our childhood when bedroom ceilings were covered with a sea of glow-in-the-dark stars.

The charms, which include the singer's signature bunny logo, a fire emoji, a planet, and, of course, stars, are all based on the singer's hit YHLQMDLG album. The collab comes out right in time for Halloween, and the shoes are pretty cool. TBH, I would wear these glowy crocs while I spend Halloween at home watching a scary movie, and even after that because they are so much fun. The singer is allowing customers to choose how they want to style the crocs, so you get to decide which charms you want to add on your pair when you buy them. Keep reading to see Bad Bunny rock his collab. Then, get a closer look at the $60 shoes from all angles as well. Don't forget to mark your cals - the collection is going on sale tomorrow, Sept. 29, at 12 p.m. ET.

Want Cute Voting Merch Designed by Selena Gomez, Marc Jacobs, and Virgil Abloh? Come and Get It

The fashion industry has been coming together in more ways than one to encourage voters in the upcoming 2020 election. Here's yet another collection that's been released for the cause: Dover Street Market's celebrity designer tees and hoodies, all of which raise money for When We All Vote. (You might recall that celebrities who attended the virtual Emmys donated their looks for auction to support the same organization.) DSM tapped designers we love, like Virgil Abloh of Off-White, Selena Gomez, who worked with Puma on her designs, and Marc Jacobs, to come up with inspiring slogans that speak to their brands, but are all unified with the same message: VOTE.

We've seen some similar lines from famous faces - Gloria Steinem and Michael Stars spread the profits from their T-shirts across three different nonprofits - but DSM has committed to donating 100 percent of profits to When We All Vote so the company can fund its efforts in closing the race and age voting gap in this election and future elections. Keep reading to see some of our favorite designs - all of which are stamped with cool streetwear vibes and fun graphics - and click over to Dover Street Market to get a look at all 25 designers who participated in the project.

If Fashion Week Was Still a Thing, I Bet I'd Get Photographed in Fear of God's New Collection

Getting photographed at Fashion Week is the ultimate form of approval for style-obsessed fashion girls like me. Sadly, it hasn't happened. I've tried casual chic, in-your-face designer logos, and outlandish fashion trends, and nothing ever works. For years now, I've had guarded optimism that it would, but now I'm convinced that if our regular Fashion Month programming were still in session (thanks COVID), I would be a shoe-in for the style icon pages if I was dressed in Fear of God's new collection.

Black fashion designer Jerry Lorenzo hit it out of the park with his latest collection for Fear of God, entitled "7th Collection." Inspired by easy elegance, the collection became a reality after two years in the making. All made in Italy and from specific Italian mills, it's the first time that we see any suiting come out of Fear of God, and it is a welcome change. I really appreciate that each outfit can be worn in all seasons, dressed down or dressed up. I think Lorenzo completely nailed that easy elegance he was after with the low-shouldered, cropped-sleeve tailoring and outerwear pieces in this collection. The styling is so brilliantly minimalist, featuring no hardware, but fanny packs and backpacks against luxury leathers and wool blends.

It's really such a bummer than New York Fashion Week was only partially live - at 50 percent occupancy - and partially virtual this year, because this collection is so worthy of an in-person moment, undoubtedly, one that would guarantee heads to turn and cameras to snap. Truly such a vibe. Read through to view some of my favorite looks from the 7th Collection, and let's all live our Fashion Week outfit dreams through Fear of God.

Practical Magic Gave Us Some Wicked '90s Looks That We're Ready to Replicate Today

I know it's shameful to admit, but I watched Practical Magic for the first time just a few weeks ago. I know, I know - how could I have missed out on such an iconic fall film for the last 20 years? Well, I hope you'll forgive me once you realize what I've learned: there are some spell-binding style moments in this 1998 flick! The outfits Sally and Gillian (played by Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman) wore would absolutely be considered trendy looks today.

Since Sally and Gilly are polar opposites as sisters and witches, it makes sense that their style would reflect their differences. While Gilly gravitates towards sexy tube tops and wrap skirts, you can catch Sally more often in a cozy sweater or a comfortable pair of jeans. That said, their mutual love of slip dresses is not to be missed - it was the '90s, after all. If you're a fan of the movie, or of nostalgic fashion in general, take a trip down memory lane by reading through the pictures below. I've rounded up a few of the stand-out fashion moments from the film, with a few similar looks you can shop for yourself today.

11 Flat Boots That Are Perfectly Suited For Your Fall Adventures

A friend recently asked what my travel plans were this fall, and it made me pause. While I may not be flying somewhere or getting together with large groups of friends, there's still plenty of fun to be had. I'm particularly looking forward to spontaneous road trips, scenic park walks, and hiking new trails in the crisp autumn air.

I'd be lying if I said I don't dread the cold, though, which is why I'll be filling my wardrobe with pieces that pack ample warmth and blend fashion with comfort. This includes sherpa-lined jackets, fuzzy cardigans, and cozy footwear.

One shoe trend I'm really into this fall is the chunky boot. They're easy to pull on, and the thick soles are designed to support you wherever you go. They will no doubt be my go-to for impromptu getaways, and I found some practical options that you'll want to take everywhere.
