5 Sunglasses Trends For 2021 That Are Made For All Seasons

We know you're searching for sunglasses shapes to add to your rotation year-round, so we won't skimp on the trends you'll want to get to know. We scoured the runways and checked the new arrivals from our favorite eyewear brands - Oliver Peoples, Linda Farrow, Le Specs, and Quay Australia, just to name a few - and uncovered the biggest looks of 2021. These styles may be even more important than your blue light reading glasses because you can wear them outside and inside - inside, like, when you're posing for an outfit selfie, of course.

This year, we're not only seeing a repetition of certain shapes, but a recreation of them. Futuristic designs come in all forms - some have frames that swerve or make waves at the sides, while others feature incredibly cool cutouts in the actual lens itself. Meanwhile, heavy metal is a trend, and we're seeing yellow gold spike in particular, so now you'll have another accessory to match with all the delicate gold jewelry you've been collecting.

If you prefer something with structure, and you have the face shape to pull it off, shop for a rigid square or rectangle shape à la Cult Gaia, and if you want a next-level cat-eye, take inspiration from the '70s and go bold and oversize. Finally, if you love the playful appeal of lucite or acetate frames, the range of see-through sunglasses we've curated here will not disappoint. Ahead, jump down to the category you already know you love, or scroll past every pair of shades on our wish list.

We found proof that denim can be comfortable, and one of our favorite denim brands is Zara. Plus, not only are the styles on trend and super wearable, they're affordable too.

These 12 jeans from Zara are the ones you should be shopping right now. We're loving the viral '90s wide leg jeans, some classic straight pairs, and yes, even a skinny jean. Keep on reading to shop our selects.

16 Times Harry Styles's Sweater (and Sweater Vest!) Game Was Unequivocally Unmatched

Harry Styles has come a long way since his One Direction days - creatively, romantically, musically, and perhaps most notably of all, fashionably. Roughly 10 years ago when he was fresh off his stint on The X Factor, the singer-songwriter fancied muted suits, skinny jeans, sporty tracksuits, flannel button-downs, and the occasional wide-brim hat. But after he began pursuing his career as a solo artist, Harry's true sense of style began to shine in all its quirky glory.

Nowadays, Harry frequently steps out in brightly colored suits, heeled leather boots, wide-leg trousers, and an impressive collection of cozy sweaters and sweater vests. No seriously, we're starting to believe he may have an entirely separate closet just for his knitwear - or perhaps a cedar chest à la Schitt's Creek's David Rose? To celebrate Harry's fun sweater style, we've compiled our 16 favorite looks from the past few years, featuring pieces by Gucci (duh), Lanvin, Marc Jacobs, and more designer brands. Crank up Fine Line and check out every enviable outfit ahead.

Janelle Monáe's Seashell Cover-Up > All Other Swimwear - Here's How It Landed in Her Suitcase

If you're familiar with Janelle Monáe's style, then you probably know she tends to keep to a wardrobe of black and white on the red carpet. Monáe told HuffPost the color palette speaks to her background and history: "It's a dedication to uniformity and I'm a minimalist by heart, but a lot of it had to do with me wanting to have a uniform like the working class, like my mom and my grandmother," she explained. While we have seen the singer, songwriter, producer, and actress in color before, she mostly stays firmly dedicated to this look.

Her stylist Alexandra Mandelkorn, whom she's worked with for over four years, told POPSUGAR that this fashion choice extends beyond events - like for her recent trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where Janelle wore black-and-white outfits with a vacation vibe. "Fun prints, embroidery, and sheer fabrics are all fab in black and white!" Mandelkorn said. "I know exactly what kind of silhouettes and color palettes Janelle is drawn to. I go out and search for new, fun ideas for her to try and present them to her prior to her departure. I'll make initial selects, and from there, Janelle picks out her favorites. Vacation is always lighthearted and playful, so I try to find clothes that reflect that mood."

The clear winning item in Janelle's Mexico suitcase was this PatBO Seashell Beaded Beach Dress, which features over 1,000 imitation-pearl beads and conch-shell charms stitched onto the bustier of the bodysuit. Janelle wore it poolside with chunky chain-link necklaces and a black hat. "I was familiar with [PatBO] but had never had the right opportunity to collaborate. When this vacation popped up, I thought this would be the perfect moment!" Mandelkorn said, confirming that this was Janelle's first time in the Brazilian brand. With how well she pulled off this design - which I'm sure we'd all choose over any existing swimsuit in our swim drawer - we're sure it won't be her last.

Scroll to see how the beach cover-up looked on Janelle with slightly different underwater lighting, then splurge on her exact outfit if you have something special coming up, or shop for an inspired version at a more affordable price point for future getaways.

Billie Eilish's New Merch Is Basically Made For People Going Through a Breakup

Billie Eilish is shifting over into a new aesthetic. Following all the neon green that felt synonymous with her debut album and subsequent breakout year, the newly blond singer is leaning into more neutral colors for her highly anticipated sophomore album, recently revealed to be titled Happier Than Ever. And with that comes new merch.

Timed with the release of her latest single, "Your Power," on April 29, Billie dropped a small range of clothing and accessories all displaying the album title in some way. In fact, the defiant and feisty expression makes Billie's new merch feel reminiscent of those Happy Bunny T-shirts popular in the 2000s . . . except slightly more elevated. There are a sweatshirt, two sweatpants, two T-shirts, a tank, a pair of socks, and a satin scarf, with prices ranging from $20 to $120. Scroll to shop the entire range.

Cascading Pleats and Platform Boots! Billy Porter's Pose Premiere Look Is a Work of Art

Billy Porter, always one to get experimental with his clothing, joined the cast of FX's Pose for the final season premiere in a look so major, we just couldn't look away. The actor, singer, and style icon tapped London based designer Robert Wun for a gown that showcases the brand's futuristic approach to fashion. It's a piece from Wun's fall/winter 2021 collection, which incorporated cascading, asymmetrical pleats, sculptural corsetry, and a playful color palette to leave you mesmerized. Wun is inspired by nature when developing new shapes for his artful line, and Porter took note at just the right time.

Working with his team of stylists Ty Hunter and Colin Anderson, Porter was able to secure this look and complete it with one of the brand's signature handbags in a matching turquoise, along with geometrically shaped platform boots. "I still remember an interview I did in early 2020 that one of my dreams would be to dress the cast from Pose," Robert Wun wrote on Instagram underneath a photo of Billy on the red carpet. Porter was sure to show off this colorful number from every angle, turning for the cameras so we could all catch a glimpse of his floor-sweeping train. Scroll down to see how he brought Robert Wun's incredible creation into the spotlight at New York's Lincoln Center to commemorate a life-changing show.

Sophie Turner's 14 Best Moments in Louis Vuitton, According to the Brand

Sophie Turner cemented her relationship with the Louis Vuitton fashion house during the 2017 season, when she starred in the brand's campaign and sat front row at the spring/summer runway show. Since then, creative director Nicolas Ghesquière has hooked her up for her X-Men and Game of Thrones premieres, during award season, and on the Met Gala red carpet.

Most recently, Turner joined Jaden Smith, Naomi Osaka, and Chloe and Halle Bailey for the spring/summer 2021 ad series and showed off the craftsmanship of LV's new Tambour Street Diver watch. Sophie's LV designs have run the gamut, from frilly and flirty minidresses swathed in multicolored sequins to custom, sculptural gowns inspired by the '80s. And of course, she can shop straight off the runway, too.

Sophie celebrated her nuptials to Joe Jonas in a Louis Vuitton wedding gown in France, covered in glistening silver sequins and delicate floral embroidery. This Sustainable Brand Will Have You Rethinking the Way You Buy Jewelry

While we often think about jewelry as sentimental items, we very rarely think about exactly where they are coming from. This is something that founder and Creative Director Matilde Mourinho had in mind when starting her sustainable line, Matilde Jewellry. The brand thrives on making a difference and keeping transparency in mind for everything from its materials to packaging and even employees. That said, the brand's pieces don't lack in quality or designs, and it's truly making it more accessible for anyone to own ethically sourced and thoughtful jewelry.

The brand's metal suppliers purchase preloved gold that is able to be refined and remade into new pieces, making it a 100 percent recyclable process. In addition to its eco-friendly approach to gold, it also uses lab-grown diamonds, which are more environmentally and socially friendly. These lab-grown pieces are visually, chemically, and physically identical to mined diamonds, so you won't even know the difference, except that you can feel good about your purchase.

If you're sold and ready to snag a few sustainable pieces for your own collection, or you're thinking it'll make the perfect Mother's Day gift, we're here to help you shop. While some of the prices are on the higher end, you know you're getting quality gold and diamond materials that are less harmful to our planet in many ways, and that's priceless, right? Ahead, we curated a few of our favorite pieces from the line that'll make you feel good about what you're wearing.

Soda Sandals Are Officially Making a Comeback (Yes, Really)

Fact: everything that was once cool in the Y2K era has suddenly become cool again. Case in point? Look no further than the recent resurgence of Juicy tracksuits, middle parts (prove me wrong), glitter on glitter, and of course, Soda sandals. Yes, really - the iconic sandal that was the go-to every school dance is officially making a comeback. And TBH, we're here for it.

Defined by its thick platform base, strappy thong attachment, and uberhigh arch, it can be argued that Soda sandals walked (down a high school hallway à la the opening scene in Jawbreaker, specifically) so that the chunky platform trend in the early aughts could run, and don't even get us started on the range. The towering style plays well with just about any 2000's wardrobe choice imaginable. A velour tracksuit? Cute! A terry halter dress adorned with rhinestones? Love it! A DeLiA*s logo tee and low-rise flares? Iconic! Perhaps inspired by the momentum that Soda restarted, early aughts staple brands like Bebe, Rocket Dog, and Guess have released their own iterations.

But it isn't just the mall MVPs of the world getting onboard with the flip-flop wedge - high-end labels like Staud, Veronica Beard, and Dries Van Noten have also released ultraluxe versions. Here, we rounded up Soda-style platforms at virtually every price point. Click through our gallery to shop all the options now, then let the wave of nostalgia wash over you.

Jill Biden Just Wore a "Double Repurposed" Version of Her Symbolic Inauguration Dress

For her latest appearance, Jill Biden once again made a symbolic and sustainable style decision. The first lady recently attended President Joe Biden's first address to Congress wearing a floral Gabriela Hearst dress that felt familiar for fashion enthusiasts. In fact, it was a nearly exact version of the dress she wore on the evening of the presidential inauguration, except in navy.

The brand revealed that the silk wool dress, which was made entirely out of existing fabrics, was originally used in fittings for the first lady's inauguration dress; however, she later "requested to salvage for another occasion" - that occasion being the significant joint session, which marked the president's first 100 days in office. The brand added, "Double repurposed. New is not always better."

In addition to being sustainably minded, the design also honored the nation: Jill's dress and matching mask were embroidered with the federal flower of every US state, district, and territory. The peach blossom representing Delaware, where Jill and Joe call home, was strategically placed right over Jill's heart. Take a closer look at the noteworthy dress ahead.

All three versions of the bag are made from faux leather and feature a twill lining. The double strap setup allows you to carry it by the handles or crossbody. Of course, the design wouldn't be complete without the iconic embossed Telfar logo. As for the price, it's $150 for the small, $202 for the medium, and $257 for the large.

The bags dropped exclusively on Telfar's website this morning, and while they are sold out, you can sign up for the next drop. In the meanwhile, you can take a look at the adorable new colorway ahead.

Kamala Harris Wears Asian Designer Prabal Gurung's Pantsuit, Makes Him Feel "Re-Energised" in His Mission

Kamala Harris continues to break barriers in her career. On April 28, she stood behind Joe Biden as he addressed a joint session of Congress at the United States Capitol in Washington DC. Biden acknowledged the vice president and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi: "Madam Speaker, Madam Vice President. No president has ever said those words from this podium," he said. "No president has ever said those words and it's about time." If that is not enough to make women and young girls all over the world feel confident, Harris's bold stature and elegance in a cream Prabal Gurung pantsuit should help.

Harris chose to support the Singaporean-born Nepali American designer raised in Nepal and India at the most crucial time - when Gurung himself is using his platform to stand up against Asian hate crimes in America and racism in the fashion industry. By working with Gurung on this outfit - complete with a Champagne silk camisole to highlight her Ana Khouri pearls, which she wears to celebrate women - Kamala was backing his efforts, thereby complimenting him on his vision for our future America. "I am so honoured to be part of this historical moment and am humbled by the visibility and re-energised in my mission to advocate for representation and create better paths for the future," Gurung wrote on Instagram. "Here's to dreams and manifesting them into reality with the love and support from your community."

The theme of hope and light was very prominent on the stage, where there were fist and elbow bumps abound. This is not the first time Harris looked to Gurung's New York-based atelier for a powerful moment. Gurung dressed Harris in a cranberry-colored dress and jacket for her first day in office (Jill Biden matched her that day in Brandon Maxwell). It should be noted that jewelry designer Ana Khouri sourced Harris's South Sea pearls ethically and responsibly - she too crafts her pieces in New York. In summary, Harris's ensemble struck all the right chords and spoke not only to the current moment, but to a future where women are uplifted in the spotlight, Asian designers and artists are seen, and the woman in a light-colored pantsuit leading members of the Senate across Statuary Hall looks like the obvious path to follow.

Imagine Having Access to Victoria Beckham's Closet - Nicola Peltz Is One Lucky Girl

Imagine not only having the chicest mother-in-law of all time, but also having access to the wardrobe of said style icon and fashion designer. Well, it's recently come to my attention that Nicola Peltz is actually that blessed, and has borrowed clothes from Victoria Beckham's closet on more than one occasion.

Since getting together with Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola has already become somewhat of an unofficial brand ambassador for the designer's eponymous fashion label, whether it's on the cover of Vogue Germany with her fiancé or at her gorgeous engagement. That in itself is enough to make me jealous, but now there's the fact that she also steals from Posh Spice's closet.

On Wednesday, the mom of four shared a photo of the actress in a sexy floral lace bustier, writing, "Looks like the future Mrs Beckham has been in my wardrobe again! 👀 but you're forgiven because I love this VB bustier on you @nicolaannepeltz 💕." The top, which Victoria originally wore back in January, appears to be from her pre-spring/summer 2021 collection. Pairing the bustier with a cropped tuxedo jacket and tailored trousers, she explained the look was one of her favorites from the line. Ahead, check out photos of both Victoria and Nicola wearing the fitted piece and prepare to join me in my jealousy.

You Like My Dress? Gee, Thanks, Just Bought It . . . at CVS

I love a good trip to the drugstore. As a full-time working mom of a toddler, my neighborhood CVS is without a doubt my happy place where I can one-stop shop for everything from toiletries to press-on nails, kombucha, and healthy (and unhealthy) snacks. There is something incredibly soothing about browsing the aisles, surrounded by remedies that promise to cure what ails me, during the agonizing and uncertain times of COVID-19. Sometimes I'll even get a friendly wave from the pharmacist.

Turns out, CVS is good for more than my daily errand run - it's an untapped fashion mecca. My obsession with buying clothes there took hold during lockdown, but officially began three years ago when I popped in to pick up a greeting card on my way to a barbecue. Situated right by the checkout line was a rack of tea-length dresses in bright colors that would work as a bathing suit cover-up or with a denim jacket and espadrilles for a low-key night out. For the $10 price tag, I felt like I had nothing to lose. I ran home and changed into the cute and comfortable "CVS Special" for that gathering, and it was so well-received, I wore it to work the following Monday too. I'll admit, at first I felt a little strange wearing something that I purchased at the same place where I buy toilet paper and dental floss, but the compliments were overwhelmingly positive. Nobody could believe I found a chic dress at CVS. I was hooked.

In the midst of the pandemic, the drugstore was one place I was permitted to visit.

Since that fateful day, I have bought several dresses at CVS, including one I wore to a celebratory dinner for my 40th birthday. The prices are always reasonable, ranging from $7 to $20. (I've never spent more than $25 on a single piece.) Every spring, I check out the new selection of dresses at the CVS stores in my area and buy one or two to last me through the summer and into the fall, often pairing my finds with ankle boots and leggings. Once fall arrives, I pass the dresses along to my nieces to wear the following summer so I can re-up my stock. This year, holiday shopping was made easy when I gifted Lildy clothing from CVS to friends and family who always eye my wardrobe with envy and a bit of disbelief.

This past year, I've expanded my CVS wardrobe to include tunics, cardigans, and leggings. In the midst of the pandemic, the drugstore was one place I was permitted to visit to retrieve medication. Although I was terrified to leave my house, once I arrived at CVS, I took advantage of its clothing displays spotlighting Lildy loungewear and activewear, with comfortable yet stylish hoodies and leggings that were perfect for working remotely. In the fall, when I returned to my teaching job for in-person learning, I headed straight to CVS to purchase some elegant cardigans and flowy tunics to freshen up my professional wardrobe.

The sheer convenience of having access to stylish pieces after doing a massive closet clean-out during quarantine was pretty great. And having the ability to try clothes on in the privacy of my own home, without the hassle of online returns, was a bonus. If something does not fit (a rare occurrence), I can easily return it the next time I have to run out for some toothpaste or tampons. Now, when someone asks me where I got my cute outfit, I proudly tell them, "CVS," with a smile and enjoy the look of shock and admiration I receive in return.

Ahead, see how I styled my favorite CVS pieces and shop them for yourself - you won't regret it.

No One's Rooting Harder For Jonah Hill and Zoë Kravitz Than Their Famous Friends

Jonah Hill and Zoë Kravitz are making a lot of noise without saying much at all. The actors recently posed for a couple of Instagram photos (wearing The Row, no less!) and sent social media into a spiral. Jonah said, "Modeling is emotionally complex," but I'd argue so is trying to piece together exactly what this snap means. Is it a regular ole hang? Probably. A secret project? Possibly. Or could it be something more? I certainly wouldn't be mad about it.

For what it's worth, Jonah and Zoë's pals are in full support of their meetup. Celebrities like Michael B. Jordan, Bella Hadid, Ziwe, and Jeremy O. Harris chimed in to voice their excitement after the photos went live. Even Taylour Paige, who recently sparked romantic rumors with Zoë herself, shared a little heart-eyes emoji in the comments. This relationship, whether it be platonic or beyond, gets star-studded approval from the ones who know them best - including Jonah's mom, it turns out. Check out the photo above to see what all the buzz is about.
