Billy Porter Brought Fairy Godparent Extravagance to the Cinderella Premiere in a 7-Foot Cape

Leave it to IRL fairy godparent Billy Porter to look bibbidi bobbidi beautiful at the Cinderella remake red purple carpet premiere. Sprinkling a little bit of magic beyond the screen, Billy attended the enchanting event in a two-toned Benchellal Collection No. 9 coat gown with a collared black bodice and white skirt. The skirt even featured pockets just spacious enough to carry a magic wand or a spare glass slipper.

Sharing his look on Instagram, Billy, who will play Cinderella's genderless fairy godparent Fab G in the 2021 remake, wrote, "#MagicHasNoGender." He paired the look with a glittery gold manicure, a L'Afshar lucite clutch, thigh-high lace-up Harry Halim Paris white boots with six-inch heels, and H. Crowne jewelry - including a statement ring on all 10 fingers. Needless to say, we wish we had our own fairy godparent to conjure up an outfit half as magical as this. See Billy's full premiere gown from all angles here.

How Stylish People Really Wear Cargo Pants

When I wore cargo pants in middle school, I certainly didn't look cool. When they cropped up on the runways, I held my breath and thought, HERE WE GO AGAIN. Maybe Jenna Lyons could show me the way. I think I saw her styling cargo pants with a sequined blazer once, and remember thinking: I want that whole outfit. Jennifer Aniston also had a memorable run in cargo pants circa 2001. Brad Pitt may have had a matching pair, but I digress. The point is, how the heck are we supposed to wear these right now?

The short answer is that Jenna Lyons and Jennifer Aniston were on to something. They transformed the utilitarian-looking pants with slim-fit t-shirts and fashion-forward frills (read: sequins and heels). If, like me, you've resisted the trend, we've tapped into the street-style set to deliver on all the outfit ideas. Ahead is a veritable buffet of looks to choose from, because cargos are back and they don't have to look anything like the outfits you put together in seventh grade. Unless, of course, you want them to (and in which case, you're far cooler than I ever was).

37 Ways to Wear Baggy Jeans, Because They're Back and Perfect For Chill Outfits

If you're unbothered by bold silhouettes and/or strictly clothe your body in ubercomfy clothing, baggy jeans are undoubtedly a look to try. With so much nostalgic '90s fashion continuing to trend in 2021, from the triumphant return of the tube top to cardigans and chunky footwear, from sandals to platforms, it's no surprise that baggy jeans are in the mix as a right-now staple. Whether it's a slouchy and low-slung straight leg (also referred to as "dad" jeans), a loose and tapered silhouette (this look is more of the "mom" jean vibe, often with high rises and nipped waists), or a wide leg with raw hems or distressed details à la surfers and skaters, there's a baggy jean to suit a range of aesthetics. Sporty, bohemian, minimalist, or a mix depending on your mood!

Baggy jeans have a "cool factor" to them that makes even the simplest wardrobe basics, from T-shirts to hoodies and blazers, feel fresh but chill. They're an ideal look when you're doing low-key stuff like hanging at home, taking a stroll, or going to the grocery store. Hot tip: if a jean isn't designed to look super baggy, simply size up for a slouchy look.

Ahead, scroll on to discover 37 baggy-jeans outfit ideas. Plus, shop our edit of styles.

Beyoncé Paired Her Little Black Dress With Pink 6-Inch Heels, and Somewhere Barbie Is Shaking

The icon recently shared photos wearing a look from the brand's fall 2021 collection consisting of a black safety-pin minidress, pink drawstring purse, and matching platform heels towering at six inches. A beautifully tacky cup, also by Versace, completed the outfit. Beyoncé's stylist, K.J. Moody, described the look as "Malibu Bey Barbie Dream."

Despite their intimidating height, Beyoncé's satin heels have also been worn by several other famous faces: most notably, Bella Hadid modeled the pink pair on the runway, while Ariana Grande wore a yellow pair in a segment on The Late Late Show With James Corden. All the Colors of the Ocean Couldn't Compete With Anya Taylor-Joy's Ruffled Dior Gown

Anya Taylor-Joy's mermaid transformation is complete. Like Ariel swapping her tail for legs in The Little Mermaid, the Queen's Gambit star embraced her inner sea goddess in her latest cover shoot for Tatler's October issue. Posing on a terrace overlooking a lush cluster of trees, Anya found herself engulfed in an ombré Christian Dior gown with a collared halter top and an open back.

Like the scales on a mermaid tail, every ruffle reflected a slightly different shade of ocean blue and seafoam green. Pooling around her feet in bunches of aqua and azure tulle, the dress was extravagant and breezy in a way that's definitely reminiscent of a Disney princess. Of course, Anya didn't stop at just one mesmerizing look. See her enchanting Michael Kors outfits ahead, and pick up your own copy of Tatler's October 2021 issue beginning Sept. 2.

12 End of Summer Fashion Finds You Need to Snag From Amazon’s Secret Outlet Section

The Best Celebrity Looks of the Week Have Us Hanging On to Summer

Pulling out all the stops with brilliant summer dresses, flower-powered prints, and skin-baring cuts, this week's best celebrity style moments are the kind that make it that much harder to say goodbye to summer. Lori Harvey made the most of a sunny LA day with a bra top and Vetements denim moment that's on our bucket list to re-create - megawatt accessories included. Yara Shahidi looked like pure sunshine in a printed Stella Jean look, and Mj Rodriguez delivered a stop-you-in-your-tracks kind of summer glam, wearing a floral-printed Christopher John Rogers set.

Of course, if you're ready for fall, you'll find some celebrity style to inspire the new season, too. Dan Levy's adorable Loewe sweater is reminiscent of David Rose in the best way possible, while Beyoncé styled up a little '90s-feeling plaid suit that's giving us Clueless vibes. Read on for these and more of the best celebrity looks of the week.

Mj Rodriguez and H&M Team Up to Empower LGBTQ+ Youth: "The Conversation We Had Was Beautiful"

Talented Pose actress, singer, and history-making Emmy nominee Michaela Jaé, aka Mj Rodriguez, continues to spread her wisdom through all her various projects. She recently partnered with H&M to host LGBTQ+ students at a "Fresh and Fabulous For the Fall" fireside chat. There, she spoke with Elle Moxley, executive director and founder of The Marsha P. Johnson Institute (a nonprofit that protects the rights of Black transgender people), about the beauty in all our various identities, empowering 20 NYC-based students, ages 14-24, ahead of their returns to school. Moxley's first feature film, Black Beauty, was screened, sparking a conversation about what can happen when we challenge ourselves to reimagine conventional ideas of beauty.

Selena Gomez Wears 3 Dresses in Her "999" Music Video, but the Pink One Reigns Supreme

It happens pretty much every time Selena Gomez drops a new music video: we watch the visuals, "ooo" and "ahh" at her beauty, attempt to decode any mysterious lyrics, and instantly scrape every corner of the internet trying to track down the outfits she's wearing. This exact series of events unfolded when Selena released her "999" music video featuring Colombian artist Camilo on Thursday night. Although Selena wears three eye-catching dresses in the video, we couldn't help but zero in on the hot-pink number she debuts about halfway through, and our fashion sleuthing adventures were luckily fruitful.

A few quick google searches revealed that Selena's hibiscus-colored dress hails from the celebrity-adored fashion brand Cult Gaia, one of our personal faves. It features an open back, a fitted bodice, a halter neckline adorned with subtly sexy ring details, and a flowy skirt perfect for frolicking through an open field. It fits Selena like a freakin' glove and somewhat surprisingly pairs well with her bright-yellow wig. And now for the tough part: the price. If you'd like to emulate Selena's style on your next flower-picking jaunt, you'll have to shell out just under $600 for her exact dress. While we wait for it to magically go on sale, check out photos of Selena rocking the dress in her "999" music video ahead, and keep reading to bookmark the Cult Gaia design for future splurging.

Naomi Osaka's LBD Might Be Fancy, but Her Sporty High-Tops Bring the Outfit Home

Naomi Osaka brought her own sporty touch to a little black dress while attending a Tag Heuer event in New York City with fellow athlete Victor Cruz. The duo hit up the step and repeat at Mr. Purple, both dressed to exhibit their personal styles with outfits grounded in sneakers. As the face of Louis Vuitton, it's no surprise that Naomi sported the brand's New Wave Multi-Pochette over her shoulder. As for her shoes, Naomi brought back her 2020 collab with Nike and Comme des Garçons. In fact, you can still find these high-tops, which read "Home is where the heart is," across the internet, since they're just that special.

Naomi coordinated her snow-white designer bag with a matching timepiece from the accessories brand she was there to support, along with a ring and chain-link bracelet covered in sparkling diamonds. While her first public appearance in Louis Vuitton came at the ESPYs, where she rocked a full-on runway look, we love how she grounded this moment with kicks and a tough oversize camo jacket. Ahead, catch some more angles of Naomi's latest outing, then shop her essentials for bringing this look together - including that fab little black dress with ruching at the side and an asymmetrical hemline, which was the foundation of it all.

Hey, So This Jean Jacket Is Perfect For Fall, and It's Only $40

Gigi and Bella, cheese and wine, primer and foundation - there are countless dynamic duos out there, but when it comes to seasonal fashion, there's no better pair than jean jackets and fall. The outerwear piece is a staple for a reason, and with the temperature changes that happen from summer to autumn, finding a lightweight jacket is the key to any outfit's success. Since the window is so short between not-too-cold and far-too-cold on the East Coast, I made it my mission to find a jean jacket that was easy to pair with anything, comfortable, and affordable.

I don't usually wear jean jackets because the fabric can sometimes be restricting (think skinny-leg jeans), but since I desperately needed a new outerwear staple, I decided to test my luck. Luckily, Old Navy released its new 2021 fall line early, and I knew it was a sign. Being a big fan of neutrals, the Olive Green Jean Jacket ($40) was the first thing that caught my eye for more reasons than one. With the words "non-stretch" in the product name, I knew it was a match made in heaven. For just $40, I found my new fall fashion piece.

Aside from being extremely comfortable, this jacket is also very versatile and can dress an outfit up or down depending on the look you're going for. It comes in a wide range of sizes (XS to 4X), and you can get it in a regular, petite, or tall fit. (I went with petite.) Since it's 100 percent cotton, it's lightweight and soft to touch, but it's also thick enough to keep you warm if you want to pair it with a dress on a fall evening. Whether you're looking for a seasonal staple or you, too, want to give jean jackets another chance, this affordable option is it.

Rihanna captioned the cheeky video that features the mogul overlooking the city, wearing a sparkling-blue, halterneck minidress, thong on display, and holding her hips while she stares into her own reflection.

Despite Rihanna's Fenty label closing its doors, Savage X Fenty is thriving and expanding. Ciara's New Luxury Fashion Brand Is the Closest We'll Get to Shopping Her Closet

Have you ever wanted to dress like Ciara? Well, you can get one step closer now that the singer is launching her own luxury fashion brand. On August 26, Ciara announced the debut of LITA (aka "Love Is the Answer"), a clothing collection inspired by her own stylish background. "I've always had an incredible love for fashion," Ciara shared on Instagram. "It's one of the ways I feel I can best express myself!" The brand will be an extension of Ciara and Russell Wilson's fashion house, The House of LR&C.

Ciara's connection with fashion started when she was a kid, "from a childhood obsession with my grandmother's closet in which every item was perfectly tailored to playing dress up in my Mom's clothes, and sometimes even my Dad's." Flash forward a few decades and she has curated clothing that gives back. The products and packaging are sustainably sourced and give back three percent of sales to the Why Not You Foundation, Ciara and Russell Wilson's nonprofit for disadvantaged youth.

LITA features knits, jackets, pants, dresses, and accessories with a connection to Ciara's personal closet. "It started with inspiration from vintage and staple pieces in my closet! I'm a High-Low fashion kind of girl, and Tom Boy Chic is my style," she explained. The products are indeed luxury, with the least expensive accessory going for $98 and the priciest jacket going for $898. If you're looking to add a high-end piece or two to your own collection, shop the entire LITA line exclusively online on the House of LR&C and Nordstrom websites.

Lourdes Leon Brings the Y2K Aesthetic to Swarovski in Low-Rise Denim and Jewels

Shortly after covering Vogue alongside her industry peers, Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon is revealed as the new face of Swarovski. Lola made waves early in 2021 when she brought her signature flair to a Marc Jacobs campaign, and she's also modeled for a collaboration between Juicy Couture and Parade, Gypsy Sport, and Stella McCartney. Here, Swarovski says she represents the elegant brand well, but especially the new collection, which is made for people of all backgrounds and orientations. "Model, Actress, Linguist, Academic, Activist Lourdes personifies the spirit of Swarovski," the press release reads.

Lola channels the popular y2k aesthetic in the shoot wearing a cropped, twisted halter top and low-slung jeans. She tugs at her denim to draw attention to the colorful jeweled belts wrapped around her waist. The charms, pendants, and rings play up the color palette too, giving us a look at the stunning crystal craftsmanship that's to come from the iconic accessories company. We're sure this won't be the last you see of Lola for Swarovski. Printed underneath the photo, which was taken by photographer Mikael Jansson, is a little foreshadow: "Stay tuned for more to come in the upcoming weeks!" You bet we're ready for more.

Rosalía Took a Page From Cher Horowitz's Sweater-Vest Handbook to Style This White Button-Up

If Clueless taught us anything, it's that plaid is timeless and button-down shirts - dressed up or down - are wardrobe must haves. Taking a page out of Cher Horowitz's style handbook, Rosalía added a splash of color to her latest all-white button-down look and singlehandedly convinced us that cherry red is our new favorite fall color.

In an Instagram post on Aug. 26, Rosalía wore a chic red Kollyy Geometric V-Neck Acrylic Vest ($24) layered over an oversize white button-down shirt and matching Eytys shorts. Keeping with the color scheme, she paired the look with Naked Wolfe Mayhem White Patent Boots and a Simone Rocha x H&M red hair ribbon so extravagant, we can feel Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls zooming to the mall to snag one for herself.

Posing in the street on a windy afternoon, the "Con Altura" singer demonstrated what it means to be a total Betty while also looking casual. We will definitely be taking style notes on every detail of this charming, '90s-inspired outfit. See Rosalía's look from all angles and shop a few pieces from her outfit here.

I Can't Go to Europe Right Now, but at Least These $35 Pants Make It Look Like I Went

Picture this: You're strolling down a cobblestone street in Florence, Italy (but since you're a local, you call it Firenze, of course), and as you're lost in a daydream about drinking Chianti wine next to the Ponte Vecchio at sunset, you snap out of your daze when someone asks you where your pants are from. During your daze, you had forgotten which pants you were wearing because they're so lightweight, and when you look down, you notice they're your everyday staple pants - the Mid-Rise StretchTech Jogger Pants ($35) from Old Navy. You tell the inquirer this information, and they're stunned. "Old Navy?" they say. "Sì!" you reply back.

Now, back to reality. And the reality is, I'm sitting in my New York apartment, not walking down the cobblestone streets of Italy. Regardless of where I might be, these joggers from Old Navy have the power to transport me anywhere I want. Usually a fan of sweatpants, I decided to upgrade to a lightweight option for summer, and they've made all the difference. These sporty pants give off the perfect "oh, I'm just on my way to Europe" vibe, while also being totally functional for everyday wear. They can be worn as workout pants and paired with a sports bra, or they can be worn as a casual outfit when styled with a crop top and sneakers. If you're on the hunt for affordable, comfortable, and versatile joggers, look no further. Just add gelato.

The 9 Most Popular Designers Gen Z Is Shopping Vintage

Shopping sustainably is important to Gen Z, and that's no secret. With retailers like What Goes Around Comes Around, Sami Miro Vintage, and The RealReal making it easier than ever to buy secondhand online, investing in vintage is an easy, sensible way for fashion enthusiasts to protect the environment. It's also pretty rad to own a piece of merchandise that not many others will have. Celebrities like Zendaya, Olivia Rodrigo, Emma Chamberlain, and Bella Hadid have their stylists help them pull from the Y2K archives to make for some of the most shared moments on social media. And just like that, the cool factor becomes clear.

If you're thinking about hopping on the bandwagon and choosing preowned accessories instead of buying new, we thought you might be interested to know which luxury brands are most popular among young people right now. We talked to our friends at The RealReal, who used their data to help us uncover the most coveted gems on the site. Not only can we confirm that vintage demand rose 118 percent year over year among Gen Z (an increase greater than any other age demo), but we also know exactly what makes for the most enticing addition to their wardrobes. Read ahead to get the lowdown, then shop a wish list of hot-ticket items that fit the bill.

All We See Are Abs as Lori Harvey Walks Around Town in a Bra Top and Low-Rise Jeans

Help, we just can't seem to escape low-rise jeans! While I still refuse to accept that this trend I thought we left behind 20 years ago is all that flattering (at least on me), when it comes to Lori Harvey, there's an exception to the rule. Lori was recently spotted out and about in Beverly Hills looking like the chic, off-duty model she is, in a relaxed yet somehow very extra outfit.

Wearing a scoop-neck bra and baggy Vetements x Levi's jeans with the logo plastered across the front, Lori topped off her ensemble with a terrycloth Bottega Veneta clutch and matching slides. Plus, she added a pair of cat-eye sunglasses from Celine and silver jewelry for good measure.

If we had to guess, Lori's casual designer outfit totals an estimated $5,000 - the purse itself is almost two grand - so we'll just be admiring the look from our screens. Between the bright-green accessories, her shiny, sculpted abs, and the low-rise denim, it's hard to look away from this sexy outfit. See photos of Lori's latest fashion moment from all angles ahead.

Halsey at Her Film Premiere Is How Teen Me Thought I Looked After Leaving Hot Topic

Halsey brought the drama to their film premiere. The singer recently wore a striking all-black outfit to a Los Angeles screening of the hourlong film that accompanies her fourth studio album, If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power. Much like their film and album cover, Halsey's look appeared to take inspiration from gothic art and religious iconography.

The outfit is also yet another gem from the archives of Image Architect Law Roach, who pointed out the veiled Dolce & Gabbana dress had been plucked from the brand's spring 1998 runway collection. Halsey completed the mesh minidress with sheer thigh-high tights, black Christian Louboutin pumps, and Loree Rodkin jewelry, including an imposing cross necklace. Halsey's boyfriend Alev Aydin was also in attendance, wearing a black checkered suit.

See photos of Halsey's theatrical red-carpet appearance ahead.

You Won't Check Your Phone When Drag Superstar Symone Walks in Wearing This Iridescent Dress

America's Drag Superstar Symone, who won RuPaul's Drag Race season 13, visited guest host RuPaul on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about building her empire. As soon as she walked in wearing this Paco Rabanne minidress, constructed from glossy, iridescent stars connected solely by metal rings, we could look absolutely nowhere else. The incredible number comes from a fashion house known for its chainmail designs, and Symone did this one justice with styling help from Marko Monroe, who completed the look with Sophia Webster platforms and Shay Jewelry (make sure you catch those drop earrings!).

When RuPaul asked Symone how she's going to continue to rep The House of Avalon as The Ebony Enchantress, she immediately responded, "Well, one, I'm going to keep looking like this," confirming she was just as into this fashion moment as we were. Although, Symone has plenty more to be proud of, like her fierce Interview cover, the upcoming Smooth Taste Tour, and an impressive list of celebrity fans that includes Rihanna and Ariana Grande.

We'll be dreaming of Symone's latest talk show mini for as long as she keeps covering billboards and magazines - or "what drag queens don't traditionally do," as she told RuPaul. But from where we're standing, the talented and charismatic Symone, who is the third drag queen to be interviewed in late-night history, is going to shine far beyond those expectations. Here's hoping she continues to work with Monroe, so they can collaborate on more looks for us to swoon over in the future.

Princess Diana Wore a Dress Strikingly Similar to the One on the Spencer Movie Poster

While Spencer costume designer Jacqueline Durran has not admitted to taking direct influence from Princess Diana's looks for Kristen Stewart's costumes, the new movie poster has us dissecting every detail. Neon distributed the above teaser of Pablo Larraín's Spencer on Aug. 25 ahead of its Nov. 5 release date, and it's an image of Kristen as Diana, slouched over her strapless gown that's stitched with regal gold embroidery. It looks a lot like the Emanuel-designed number Diana wore to the 1987 James Bond premiere for The Living Daylights. Also similar? The choice in accessories. Diana famously wore a single strand of pearls to the event, and it appears as though Kristen's got the same type of necklace on.

Of course, this creation was dreamed up by Jacqueline and her wardrobe team, and we don't know exactly what their mood board looked like. According to director Pablo's Venice Film Festival statement, "We didn't aim to make a docudrama, we wanted to create something by taking elements of the real, and then using imagination, to tell the life of a woman with the tools of cinema. That is why cinema is so fantastic: there is always space for imagination." Imagine what you will, but from our careful comparisons, we'd venture to say Diana's Bond dress was highly considered here. Scroll to check out both looks until we see more from the outfits on set.

Normani Turned Up the Heat in a Yellow Crochet Skirt Dripping With Teardrop Cutouts

Somebody hand Normani a bottle of water, because she's sizzling in her latest summer look. "Wow😍😍😍," Megan Thee Stallion commented on an Instagram post of the "Wild Side" singer posing in a sunshine-yellow Dion Lee Chain Crochet Skirt ($690) on Wednesday. "🔥You are such a beautiful young lady @normani," Brandy added amid a sea of heart-eyes and fire emoji.

The photos, taken by photographer Blair Caldwell, give a close-up look at Normani's high-waisted crochet skirt, which features intricate cable stitching with teardrop cutouts down to her ankles. To complete the summer look, Normani paired the skirt with a Dion Lee Varchetta Leather Macrame Corset Top ($1,890) in the shade desert. Adjustable in the front and back, the form-fitting lace-up top may not be the most breathable summer piece, but we can't deny that the texture contrast between the leather corset and crochet skirt make this a look we're going to be thinking about all-week long. Take a closer look at Normani's honeycomb-yellow outfit here.
