31 Pretty Pullovers to Fill That Sweater-Sized Hole in Your Wardrobe, Starting at $20

Once we smell the crispness in the air and spot the falling leaves, we can practically hear sweaters calling our names. Whether we're looking for something cropped to pair with our favorite jeans, or a roomy option to pull over pants, there's something about a cozy knit that is synonymous with the season.

In that spirit, we settled in with our favorite fall beverage, and made a list of the sweaters we wish were actually wearing right now (or later on autumn adventures). And, since not everyone wants oversized picks, we also found some short-sleeved options we love, too. Settled in with some pumpkin-flavored anything, and check them all out ahead.

These 13 Madewell Pieces Are Stylish, Versatile, and Practical (Emphasis on Stylish)

Corset Tops Are the Sexy Fall Trend That Looks Good on Everyone

Although the corset dates back to the 1600s - defined as a tightly fitting top with a boned bodice that supports and flatters the waist - it's transformed through the years. And while it can most recently be traced to the stage that is Netflix's Bridgerton, the Regenycore trend has lent itself to a more modern interpretation of the look.

Some of our favorite iterations come in denim or leather with thick piping and straps, bound by a zipper at the back rather than lace ties. We're seeing people style them over big button-downs to cinch in and trace the shape of their figures or with nothing underneath, teamed with loose, low-slung pants or a blazer. If you want to forgo sleeves altogether, you also have the option of layering an underbust corset over a tee for extra dimension and a touch of edge, whereas you might have reached for a statement belt in the past.

If you need even more ideas because you haven't purchased your corset as part of a matching skirt set (yep, there are plenty of those in existence, too!), then read ahead for some easy ways to wear it and shop a handful of takes on our latest must have.

Here's the Proof That September Was Actually the Most Stylish Month

With the return of red carpets in Venice, parties, and Fashion Week, the fall is decidedly more Fashion - and we're not even talking about the Met Gala.

The proof is in the looks we've seen this month alone, like Ciara showing off a dress from her own Lita collection; Gabrielle Union walking the red carpet in Alexandre Vaulthier, or Gigi Hadid in the chicest white suiting on the Savage X Fenty red carpet. As we welcome a whole new season, take a closer look at the best of September's celebrity style.

Taylor Swift and Tommy Dorfman Redefine a Typical Bridesmaid Dress at Lena Dunham's Wedding

When Lena Dunham married musician Luis Felber at Soho's Union Club in London, she wore three custom Christopher Kane gowns and enlisted the Scottish designer to create bridesmaid dresses, too. It was important for Lena to have her closest pals in attendance at the 60-person reception, which was detailed exclusively to Vogue and photographed by Jonny Ruff. Taylor Swift, Tommy Dorfman, actor Myha'la Herrold, and more family and friends assembled as the bridal party, forgoing those classic, silk "getting ready" robes for beautiful floral dresses from The Vampire's Wife, which they'd then swap for the silver Christopher Kane midis that are nothing short of extraordinary.

Taylor's own design came with a gemstone waistband and shoulder straps, and Tommy's was a high-neck halter silhouette. The metallic pleated lamé fabric is signature for the Christopher Kane brand (as you'll see ahead), and made for quite the party look when teamed with glitter pumps. "With the bridesmaid dresses, we were doing a kind of Swinging Sixties, silver pleated, go-go girl energy, but one of my bridesmaids put it best when she said she felt like 'a beautiful cupcake wrapper,'" Dunham said.

Dorfman helped pull together some favors for the crew, including a Susan Alexandra pearl beaded butterfly bag, just to tap into the y2k accessory trend. Everyone wore their own choice of jewelry, like multiple playful rings and barrettes. While we didn't expect Dunham to go the conventional route when it came to planning her nuptials, we have to say we're most delightfully surprised by the bridesmaid outfits and their stylish trimmings. Tom Daley's "Harry Styles Cardigan" Is Finally Finished, and Yes, We Have a Crochet Tutorial

On the eve of the Met Gala, Britain's sweetheart Tom Daley started crocheting a colorful patchwork cardigan inspired by Harry Styles's JW Anderson cardigan. Since then, the cardigan went viral on TikTok, and JW Anderson generously made the crochet pattern available for free online. And finally, Daley has completed his very own "Harry Styles cardigan," sharing his DIY process on TikTok.

"FINALLY!" Daley wrote on his dedicated knitting and crochet Instagram account. "This is the JW Anderson patchwork cardigan that Harry Styles was seen wearing! It took me ages because I have been so busy lately but so fun to make! What do you think?!" Daley also shared that he got his colorful yarns from Stylecraft, a UK-based stockist for yarns, knitting patterns, and crochet events. The original cardigan is from JW Anderson's spring/summer 2020 collection and features red, yellow, green, and orange crochet patchwork, with a floppy red collar, and blue lining down the buttons.

Some of the POPSUGAR team's favorite fall fashion trends are sweater vests, minidresses, wide-leg pants, and high-shine pieces. Chances are you've seen these trends on fashion influencers' Instagram feeds, or maybe straight from the source: the fall-winter 2021 runways.

So what if I told you that you could find all of these trends (and more) at Walmart? Yup, they're all on the department store's website (right along with the It handbag of the moment). Whether you're looking for warm wardrobe basics or a fun statement piece, there's plenty - if not too much - to choose from.

Wait, These Jeans From Old Navy Are Only $45, and They're Nicer Than My Designer Denim

I remember it like it was yesterday. I was going into fifth grade, and I was shopping for new school clothes. I had it all - the Abercrombie shirts, the Limited Too skirts, and the platform Sketchers. All that was missing were jeans, and jean shopping was the bane of my existence (that along with middle school math). Finding jeans has always been a struggle for me, and it hasn't gotten any easier. I have a petite frame, so getting a pair of jeans that is small enough around the waist and short enough at the hem is relatively tricky. Pants are either too baggy, too long, or too ill-fitting on my body, and after trying countless pairs, I had all but given up and decided to just stick with the so-so jeans I didn't love.

Since jeans can be expensive, I like to peruse around on more affordable sites to see what they have to offer. Since I like the way Old Navy workout leggings fit, I thought I'd give their jeans a shot. I saw the Extra High-Waisted Button-Fly Kicker Boot-Cut Ripped Cut-Off Jeans ($45) weren't very pricey, I didn't have a lot to lose.

Flash forward to when the jeans arrived. I was surprised at how nice the quality was for such affordable pants, and I also really liked the wash. The jeans feature casual back pockets and a cute cut-off hem that gives them a little edge. And when they fit like a glove, I knew my jean shopping saga was over. With fits that cover petite, tall, and regular, there's sure to be a size that complements your body the way jeans are supposed to. Whether you want a new pair to add to your collection, or you, too, have struggled to find cute and affordable jeans that fit your frame, shop the pants ahead, and enjoy jeans for every body.

8 Sweater Trends to Tap Into Before You Reach For the Same Old Hoodie

An underappreciated yet absolutely necessary fall basic is the sweater. It's a little old layering piece you might not have shopped for in years, rotating between just one or two worn-out, neutral styles underneath that statement coat. But 2021 in particular is a big year for knits, with so many different trends and silhouettes taking hold, you'll want to play a game of collect-them-all. From retro polos to vests, intarsia to colorblock, and cropped cardigan sets to the longline throwover, shop each category one by one, or scroll through this list to scan all our picks at a wide range of price points.

Someone Get Cardi B a Sword, Because Her Vintage Mugler Dress Is Made For a Fashion Battle

Strap on your heels and touch up your lip gloss because Cardi B came ready to battle at Paris Fashion Week this year. After turning heads in a feathery red dress from the 1995 Mugler fall couture collection, Cardi executed another showstopping entrace outside her hotel in France, and the corset on her most recent gown basically doubles as a suit of armor.

Like a vision of Catwoman ready for the red carpet, Cardi came prepared in a 1997 Mugler spring dress with a mesh floor-length skirt. Over the skirt, the textured bustier was layered like the panels on a knight's armor and lined with feather trim. The outfit even comes equipped with removable sleeves - ya know, in case the need to strike a pose became critical. While the look, styled by Kollin Carter, seemed to be missing a sword, we definitely noticed the "Up" singer's sharp black manicure, aka her Catwoman claws for the night, which made the look truly purr-fect. Take a peek at Cardi in the vintage Mugler gown here.

This Is Where They Invented Chic - See the Best Street Style From Paris Fashion Week

For the final stop on their whirlwind tour of fashion capitals, the style set headed to Paris for the last of the spring '22 shows. Between epic catwalks and presentations, the City of Light has become its own kind of runway, bustling with influencers, editors, and celebrities giving us enough outfit inspiration to last well into the next season.

As with all people watching, the best looks offer something original - their own takes on styling that range from the fashion forward to the minimalist. Here, enjoy the best snaps straight from Paris.

Suni Lee Just Wore the Cutest Pink Dress, but Her Gold-Medal Heels Are the Real Star

We may be used to seeing Suni Lee in leos and track jackets, but turns out, she looks just as fabulous in streetwear and dressy outfits. The elite gymnast sported the cutest number while out and about in Los Angeles: a bright-pink Rebecca Vallance dress with an open back and an adorable giant bow. With the help of stylist Gabriela Tena, she paired the look with a gold nylon Prada purse, heart-shaped jewelry from Retrouvaí and L'atelier Nawbar, and chain heels from Kat Maconie that remind us of little gold medals.

While Suni's currently busy casually crushing Dancing With the Stars, it looks like she's still honoring her Olympic win - as she should! The Olympian shared photos of the gorgeous outfit on Instagram on Thursday, writing, "in my moment." Get a closer look at Suni's full look above.

Rosé Taking Shots Before Looking So Chic at the Saint Laurent Show Is Why We Bow Down

Looking at photos of Rosé at the latest Saint Laurent show, you'd never guess she was nervous. So much so, that she sought help from a little social lubricant, tequila, moments before arriving. "Tequila shots before the show, because I'm nervous," she said on Instagram Stories.

Rosé attended Saint Laurent's spring 2022 show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday looking impossibly cool in a sheer black minidress, tights, knee-high boots, and gold chainlink jewelry all by the brand. It's been a whirlwind few months for the Blackpink singer, who made her solo debut with R in March, and recently attended the Met Gala with Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello. Rosé was also announced as a global ambassador for Tiffany & Co. earlier this year, with her campaign now popping up on billboards.

See photos from her latest stylish appearance ahead.

Blackpink's Jisoo Shows Us How to Make a Grand Entrance at the Dior Paris Fashion Week Show

Before Maria Grazia Chiuri wowed attendees with her joyful runway of graphic, sparkly, and colorblock ensembles - think sharply tailored skirt suits and disco-inspired minidresses - K-pop star Jisoo totally stole the spotlight. The Blackpink singer made her Paris Fashion Week debut at the Dior womenswear spring/summer 2022 show, and we all thought she might as well have walked down the runway.

The brand's global ambassador arrived at the Jardin des Tuileries in a black and white embroidered minidress from the Dior Resort 2021 collection and a micro Lady Dior bag. She then sat front row next to the chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture, Pietro Beccari, demonstrating her prominent position within the storied French house.

Jisoo has been working with Dior since 2019, but this was her first time attending a show in person. In a statement about the appointment, Dior said, "Jisoo embodies, with her singular audacity, the house's modernity and the passionate creativity of Maria Grazia, who was inspired by the Korean singer for her autumn/winter 2021 collection."

Ahead, you can relive this iconic moment as we eagerly anticipate spotting more Blackpink members during Paris Fashion Week.

I've Convinced All of My Friends to Buy This $15 Walmart Handbag

As much as I adore the thrill of splurging on a designer handbag, I admit to feeling a similar rush when I find a deal on a less expensive look-alike. Sure, I still get an uneasy feeling when I add a luxury dupe to my shopping cart, thinking, "What if it's too good to be true?" but more often than not, I'm impressed by my financially savvy finds.

This all-too-familiar feeling is precisely why I'm writing this article: to rave about Walmart's Time and Tru Scrunchie Shoulder Bag ($15) that's selling out way too quickly, FYI. It looks exactly like a particular scrunched shoulder bag that Emily Ratajkowski and Gigi Hadid frequently wear, and it's loved for its aesthetically pleasing and oh-so-photogenic silhouette.

Better yet, the wildly affordable Walmart version comes in seven colors that range from a rusty orange shade that's aptly named All Spice to an emerald-green hue dubbed Hunter Lodge. I scooped up Trailblazer Brown, a tan shade that I knew would pair well with everything in my wardrobe.

For context, the designer version of this handbag costs nearly $100. That's just a bit too much in my book since I'm not entirely sure that I'll love it as much next season. Plus, I like the idea that I could buy it in a second color without coming close to the designer version's price tag. (It's the little things, right?)

Naturally, I posted a photo of the bag on Instagram - thanks to the bag, it felt obligatory. Minutes later, my DMs were full of affordable-fashion-loving followers asking for the link to buy it. "Genesis just bought it lol," my BFF Jessica Harrington texted me about our mutual friend just a few minutes later.

My one and only pain point with this accessory is that it's itty-bitty. Not micro-bag small, but . . . small. For the record, though, I can fit my phone, keys, wallet, lipstick, and mini hot sauce (hi, Beyoncé) inside comfortably, so it's not a problem for me. I'll be wearing this scrunched bag all season long, and if you think you need it too, I advise you to act *really* fast.

Ana de Armas Channels Former Bond Girl Barbara Bach With Her Sexy Gown at the No Time to Die Premiere

Ana de Armas was one of the many celebrities who wowed us with their red carpet fashion at the world premiere of No Time to Die, which was held at Royal Albert Hall in London last night. From shimmering sequined gowns to luxe velvet tuxedo jackets, it was clear the stars were excited to get dressed up for the occasion - and to pay homage to the glamour of the James Bond franchise. De Armas, however, who wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown, also seemed to want to pay homage to the Bond girls who came before her with her sartorial selection for the night.

De Armas's black Vuitton dress featured a plunging neckline, a thigh-high slit, and embellished straps. And while many of her fellow Bond girls have worn slinky black dresses in the films, this dress seemed to evoke one Bond girl in particular: Barbara Bach in The Spy Who Loved Me.

In The Spy Who Loved Me, which was released in 1977 and featured Roger Moore as James Bond, Bach played Major Anya Amasova, aka Agent XXX. Amasova is a KGB agent who, like Bond, is trying to track down a secret microfilm. As the two travel across Egypt to search for it, trying to outdo each other at every turn, they ultimately fall in love. That may be a very (very) brief recap of the film, but what's important to know is that she wears a long, dark dress that features crystals along the straps and neckline that looks very much like the dress de Armas wore for the premiere of No Time to Die in 2021, four decades later.

Now, there are some differences. It turns out that Bach's gown was actually navy blue, whereas de Armas's dress was black. The former featured two slits versus one, while the latter had a much deeper neckline and fewer crystals. Either way, if you look at the two side by side, it's clear Bach's iconic Bond girl gown was at least on de Armas and her team's radar when choosing the Cuban-Spanish actor's look for the evening. Keep reading to see for yourself.

The No Time to Die Premiere: See All the Best Dressed Celebrities on the Red Carpet

Well, folks, after what feels like five years (OK, maybe it was only a few months), No Time to Die is finally here. And after such a long wait, it was only fitting that the world premiere of Daniel Craig's fifth and final James Bond film was a big celebration. Held at Royal Albert Hall in London, it seemed as though every major celebrity in the UK - be it actor, athlete, royal, or Peloton instructor (Leanne Hainsby was there!) - was in attendance.

Despite the torrential rain, the stars made it a point to dazzle with their red carpet fashion choices. Always one for bold color, actor Lashana Lynch stole the show in a vibrant yellow gown by a fellow Brit, designer Vivienne Westwood. Phoebe Waller-Bridge returned to the red carpet in a formfitting black sequined Azzaro jumpsuit, and tennis player Emma Raducanu channeled Old Hollywood in a shimmering white asymmetrical gown from Dior's 2022 Resort collection.

Perhaps the most surprising red carpet gown of the evening, however, was Kate Middleton's. The Duchess of Cambridge chose a gold sequined Jenny Packham gown that felt flashier and, dare we say, sexier than we usually see her in - even if the dress featured a shoulder-covering cape. And with a voluminous updo, it was almost as if she'd stepped off of the 1964 set of Goldfinger and onto the red carpet.

Keep reading to see all of our favorite fashion moments from the No Time to Die world premiere in London.

Lashana Lynch Reps Her Jamaican Heritage in a Vivienne Westwood Gown at the James Bond Premiere

Lashana Lynch is the first woman actor to play a 007 agent in the James Bond series. To celebrate this milestone, Lynch wore a custom Vivienne Westwood gown to the No Time to Die premiere at London's Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, Sept. 28 that honored her and the Bond series' ancestral home - Jamaica.

Lynch wore a yellow Vivienne Westwood gown with a black tulle petticoat. The gown featured an embroidered hummingbird on the bustle, which is called a "doctor bird" in Jamaica and is the national bird of the island. Lynch's stylist Karla Welch shared on Instagram that her client was "Representing her ancestors and the birthplace of Bond with the National bird of Jamaica, the hummingbird, on her custom @viviennewestwood gown." Lynch completed the look with an emerald choker, an emerald and black-diamond two-finger ring, and emerald Whip earrings by Ara Vartanian, with a single Quill earring by British jeweler Shaun Leane. The yellow, black, and green palette of Lynch's outfit is also an homage to the colors of the Jamaican flag.

Ahead, see every angle of Lashana Lynch's custom Vivienne Westwood gown.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge Has Been Spotted Looking Damn Good in a Shimmery Black Jumpsuit

For the first time since January, Phoebe Waller-Bridge has returned to the red carpet, and the wait was worth it. Phoebe arrived at the No Time to Die premiere in London draped in a sleeveless Azzaro jumpsuit coated in enough black sequins to mirror all the stars in the sky on the nights we've spent dreaming of Fleabag's nonexistent third season. Sleek and sophisticated, Phoebe's jumpsuit featured a sexy deep V neckline and a flared hem, creating a modern take on the '70s-style Bond-girl style. Phoebe completed the look with light jewelry and an off-white rhinestone coat by Azzaro.

Even if Fleabag never returns, at least we have Phoebe's iconic style moments to look forward to. See her shimmering black jumpsuit - accessorized with a 1965 Aston Martin DB5, James Bond's signature car from the movie - from all angles ahead.

J'Adore Rachel Zegler's Denim Pinafore and Beret at Dior's Paris Fashion Week Show

Paris Fashion Week is off to a stellar start with celebrities turning up in showstopping outfits left and right, and Rachel Zegler took her invitation to Dior's fashion show as a cue to bring out her inner Parisian. Demonstraing the kind of clothing we wish we'd seen on the first season of Emily in Paris, Rachel arrived at the show in an ankle-length denim pinafore layered over a puff-sleeve white button-up. The high-waisted skirt featured silver buttons down the center and a matching denim belt that paired perfectly with her Dior veiled denim beret. If ever there was a perfect outfit for a trip to France, Rachel's look just might be the one.

"Sis this is one of my fav looks you've ever had I think," gymnast Laurie Hernandez commented on Rachel's post, and we wholeheartedly agree, Laurie. Rachel accessorized the denim ensemble with J'adior slingback heels, mismatched pearl and gold earrings, a metallic gold choker, and a cherry red Dior handbag stitched with heart embroidery. Rachel's bright red lip and matching manicure tied the whole look together, and it's basically the ultimate vacation outfit.

We expect to see a lot more of Rachel and her stunning fashion sense as she prepares for her upcoming roles as Maria in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story remake and Snow White in Disney's live-action remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. For now, we have more than enough fasion inspiration to go off of from this look alone. Take a peek at Rachel's denim pinafore and her friend Zoey Deutsch's Paris Fashion Week ensemble ahead.

We're Not Surprised by Any of Zara's Bestsellers - They're All Styles We'd Shop

Va-Va-Voom! Cardi B Looks Luxe in Her First Public Appearance Since Giving Birth

Cardi B just set the bar for grand entrances at Paris Fashion Week this year, and it's shrouded in red feathers and enough glitter to light up a Las Vegas stage. On Sept. 28, Cardi attended the Mugler fashion show and made her first public appearance since giving birth to her second child earlier this month. Dressed to the nines, the "WAP" singer held nothing back in a fitted red sequin dress with a low-cut sculptural neckline. But the true pièce de résistance was her flowing red cape adorned in thousands of scarlet feathers. Like a headpiece and shawl in one, the luxurious cape framed Cardi's Old Hollywood hairstyle and figure-hugging gown in a way that made it hard to tear our eyes away from the extravagant look.

Kicking the sparkles up a notch, Cardi accessorized with matching sequin evening gloves, a glistening chandelier necklace, gemstone earrings, and vibrant red eyebrows dripping in almost as much glitter as her dress. No matter which way she turned, the feathers and glitter made it clear that Cardi was the showstopper at this event. With Paris Fashion Week still underway, we hope to see even more looks as spectacular as Cardi's. See her dress - reminiscent of her Thom Browne look at the 2019 Met Gala - and lavish cape from all angles here.

Bridgerton Season 2 Is All New, but Spoiler Alert: It Still Comes With the Regencycore Costumes You Love

Fans of Netflix's Bridgerton (and isn't everyone a fan?) are getting their first glimpse at the second season of romance and drama, and all the Regency-era costumes that go with it. Bridgerton's second season will follow Daphne's brother Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) as he sets out to find a wife, and introduces a new character, Kate Sharma (played by Simone Ashley), who makes an appearance in the show's latest teaser in an embellished, mint-hued evening gown and tiara.

Costume designer Ellen Mirojnick, who crafted the wardrobe from scratch for the first season, returned to dress the show's new characters. With her expertise and careful attention to detail, the gowns are likely to set off another #regencycore trend.

Here, take a look at the first stills from the show, featuring the gorgeous costumes.

Neat Idea: Ella Emhoff Makes Lug-Sole Platform Oxfords Work For a Wedding

When Ella Emhoff and boyfriend Sam Hine attended a fall wedding, they were sure to do it in style. We're really not surprised. The duo, who also stepped out during Fashion Week (seeing as Ella's a model and designer and Hine works for GQ), both wore their own takes on a pantsuit. Ella's came bejeweled with Miu Miu crystals - her embellished cropped blazer retails for almost $3K, and her bag is from the brand, too - while Hine stuck with accoutrements such as a classic bow tie and pearl drop earrings.

Our favorite accessories of all, however, were Ella's studded black oxfords that came with a lug-sole tread platform. She could have worn the shoes with casual jeans the day before, but the way they spiffed up her elegant separates came as a delightful surprise. It's also a reminder that heels are never a must, and comfort is key. Just as Ella showed us when wearing roomy Adidas by Stella McCartney trousers at her first-ever Met Gala, chicness comes in all forms and isn't defined by any specific fashion rule. Ahead, see how Ella and Sam's outfits came together in perfect harmony, then shop Ella's essential pieces to get the look.

Meghan Markle Just Carried a Modern Iteration of Princess Diana's Most Iconic Purse

We all know by now that oftentimes royals - Meghan Markle in particular - dress with intention, and her recent sartorial nod to Princess Diana was no coincidence. As she promoted COVID-19 vaccine equity alongside Prince Harry at Global Citizen Live in New York, the Duchess subtly paid tribute to Diana through one accessory: her Dior bag.

The Lady D-Lite purse in Meghan's hand is a modern iteration of the Lady Dior, made famous by Diana in the late '90s. Originally called the Chouchou, the purse was gifted to Diana by the first lady of France at the time, Bernadette Chirac. Upon receiving, Diana carried it on numerous occasions, including at the Met Gala, which prompted the fashion house to rename the iconic purse Lady Dior.

While Meghan's choice honors Diana, her Lady D-Lite has her own touch: "DSSOS" monogrammed across the front in reference to her title. She paired the bag with a white Valentino shift dress featuring floral appliques, a long black coat draped over, as well as sleek black pumps. Ahead, get a side-by-side look at Meghan and Diana carrying their gorgeous Dior purses.

Lila Moss Makes a Positive Statement For People With Diabetes on the Fendi x Versace Runway

Kate Moss's daughter, 18-year-old Lila Moss, is making the runway rounds at Fashion Week. After opening the Richard Quinn show in London, she joined her mom along with a whole slew of iconic supermodels at the Versace by Fendi show in Milan. Walking for Fendi's portion of the "swap" event, she debuted a one-piece swimsuit with Kim Jones's interpretation of Versace's gold baroque pattern and signature safety pin. The look was complete with an ornate, logo covered blazer, matching tote bag, metallic shoes, purse, and jewels - and most importantly, Lila's Omnipod DASH, a tubeless insulin delivery pump, on her left thigh.

Lila has type 1 diabetes, which typically appears in adolescence and is a lifelong autoimmune disease. "I think not many people know that I have diabetes. It's not visible from the outside, so no one would really know just by looking at you," she explained to The Kit. But by deciding not to cover her pump, and displaying it proudly on the catwalk, she normalized the device for the community and showed up for representation in a big way.
