Rihanna Arrives in Paris in a Coat That Went Down the Runway Just Days Ago

Rihanna's world tour continues. Days after sitting front row at Gucci during Milan Fashion Week, the expecting star appeared at an Off-White show during Paris Fashion Week on Feb. 28 with boyfriend A$AP Rocky. The outing presented another style opportunity for Rihanna, who has been revolutionizing maternity style since she announced her pregnancy on Jan. 31.

Rihanna's peach outfit combined the old and the new: her shearling coat was pulled from the Diesel collection, which debuted just last week, while her matching minidress originally appeared in Off-White's spring collection last year. Rihanna completed the look with a vintage Dior saddle bag; strappy Manolo sandals; and, among various necklaces, a coral, onyx, and diamond necklace acquired from House of Kutchinsky.

The show, which kicked off Paris Fashion Week, was the first since the passing of Off-White founder Virgil Abloh on Nov. 28, 2021 from cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. In addition to Rihanna and Rocky, a host of fashion stars appeared at the show to honor Abloh, including Pharrell Williams and Luka Sabbat. Iconic supermodels, including Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen, Amber Valletta, and Naomi Campbell, walked the runway along with a new generation - including Kaia Gerber, Kendall Jenner, Adut Akech, and Gigi and Bella Hadid.

The Story Behind Kerry Washington's Yellow Gown Will Make You Love It Even More

Kerry Washington is all about lighting up the room. On Feb. 27, the producer stepped out for the SAG Awards wearing a bright yellow dress from Celia Kritharioti's couture spring 2022 collection. The strapless gown featured a bustier top with a sweetheart neckline and ruching at the waist. All eyes were glued to the massive skirt as she graced the red carpet. Washington was styled by Law Roach, who paired the yellow gown with Messika earrings and rings, Stuart Weitzman heels, and a matching yellow Tyler Ellis clutch.

Washington's gown is stunning enough upon first glance, but the meaning behind Kritharioti's collection makes it even more special. When Kritharioti unveiled the couture spring 2022 collection, it was presented for "many colorful days to come." "A collection that celebrates colors and craftsmanship, that celebrates life. It has been two years. Two dark, difficult and gloomy years. But creativity never ends: being present is the best present," she wrote on Instagram in January.

Just one night before, Washington attended the NAACP Image Awards wearing a pink Zuhair Murad gown, also styled by Roach. It's clear she's embracing this season's many color trends. Washington joined her former "Scandal" costar Tony Goldwyn for a sweet reunion as they presented the SAG award for outstanding ensemble in a drama to the cast of "Succession." A vision in royal blue, the Duchess of Sussex wore an elegant one-shoulder gown for the occasion.

The two-toned Christopher John Rogers dress came with a long train and high slit, which she paired with a dangly statement earring. Harry, on the other hand, looked dapper in a simple yet sleek black tuxedo from Ozwald Boateng as they delivered a powerful speech pledging to fulfill the work of civil rights giants and expressing support for the people of Ukraine.

Prior to the Image Awards, the Duke and Duchess most recently appeared at the 2021 Salute to Freedom Gala back in November. These Old Navy Jeans Magically Adjust to Your Body Shape

Shopping for jeans is no easy feat, especially when your size varies significantly from brand to brand. At some stores, I'm a size 6, while at others, size 8 is too snug. Team that with the fact that my weight fluctuates throughout the year like everyone's does (it's v normal, y'all), and I find myself tempted to steer clear of purchasing new denim altogether. But recently, while perusing Old Navy's jeans section, I came across the brand's "FitsYou" style that fits three sizes. The technology sounded game-changing, so I couldn't help but look into it further.

The debut "FitsYou" style is the Extra High-Waisted Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans ($45, originally $55), which come in four different washes and one ripped design, all featuring a contoured extra high-rise waistband. So how does the multi-sizing work? Well, per the brand, the jeans harness the power of Lycra-free technology, which allows the fabric to "expand over your body while remaining comfortable and not compressive."

Shoppers choose from a size range (0-00, 2-6, 8-12, 14-18, 20-24, and 26-30) rather than a singular number (which feels so much less stressful and risky, especially while ordering online). After taking a quick quiz to determine my size, the brand recommended adding the 8-12 range to my cart. I went with the dark-blue wash called "Cher" and then selected two-day shipping (because I have no chill).

I was cautiously optimistic about this order, especially since I wasn't entirely confident that the size 8-12 range wasn't the right fit. But upon slipping the jeans on, I was shocked to find that they hugged my body perfectly. They didn't feel too big, nor too small, and the stretchy material felt as comfortable as a pair of leggings. (Yes, really).

My *only* complaint is that I'm not as committed to the skinny jeans as I used to be. These days, I prefer a boot cut or wide-leg design à la the brand's Extra High-Waisted Sky Hi Ripped Wide-Leg Jeans ($50), but that doesn't mean I'll ditch the style entirely. I do hope the brand utilizes the "FitsYou" technology in other styles, because there's not a doubt in my mind that it's genius. We just need some more options!

The verdict? I absolutely recommend giving these jeans a try, especially if you're someone who gets frustrated with jeans sizing like me. I love knowing this pair will meld to my body just as nicely if my weight fluctuates in the future - be it next week or a year from now. As far as fashion innovation goes, these jeans deserve an award for being - wait for it - ahead of the curve.

The "Cyrano" Costume Designer on Creating the Film's Beautiful Looks

For costume designer Massimo Cantini Parrini, helping to remake the classic "Cyrano" story into a sweeping movie musical presented a formidable challenge. If creating hundreds of romantic, era-appropriate costumes for the cast to dance and sword-fight in wasn't chaotic enough, he also had to do it during a global pandemic. "It was very difficult," Parrini tells POPSUGAR. "I only had one month of preproduction for this film, but thanks to God, I kept making the costumes in the workshop I opened in Sicily during the whole shoot. We sewed until the last day and created about 750 new costumes made exclusively for this wonderful film."

The effort was, of course, worth it - and not just because the film's costumes have been nominated for an Oscar. "Cyrano," starring Emmy award-winning actor Peter Dinklage and helmed by BAFTA-winning director Joe Wright ("Atonement," "Pride & Prejudice") is a gorgeous triumph. Everything about the film is romantic and lovely - the backdrops of snowy mountains and sunny Italian palazzos, the spirited choreography punctuating soaring original musical numbers, Peter Dinklage's love-soaked gaze - and the costumes further build the period piece's world with billowing capes, lush corsets, and battle-worn uniforms. Read on to learn how Parrini helped breathe new life into this classic love story, currently playing in theaters nationwide.

POPSUGAR: Where do you start your creative process, especially when you are given the task of recreating such an iconic character as Cyrano?
Massimo Cantini Parrini: In Cyrano's case, [director] Joe Wright and I wanted his costume to be the same for the whole film but also to be versatile enough to change shape and appearance for every scenic occasion. To do this, I created a uniform, putting buttons in the place of the seams, which allowed me to transform the costume by unbuttoning or buttoning, and moving elements of the costume in continuation and in a way that it could always be different.

PS: This is not Cyrano's first film. There is a French film from 1900, a film from 1925, a television adaptation from 1938, another French film in 1946, a film from 1950. . . . Fast forward to a 1990 version with Gérard Depardieu, another in 2008 with Kevin Kline, and countless plays, of course. Were these earlier tales a part of your research, or did you prefer to start over?
MCP: Absolutely start over! I don't want any kind of contamination. The ideas must be absolutely original, and I believe it is very important to respect the director's vision. Joe strongly wished that this "Cyrano" was original in everything and that Cyrano was a protagonist of incredible modernity, while remaining very faithful to the historic play. We all followed this beautiful character's evolution with enthusiasm.

PS: How difficult is it to create costumes that not only have to look a certain way to tell a story, but also have to be functional to accommodate the movements of dancers and swordsmen?
MCP: I have to say that it was a good challenge! I have already worked on a musical, but every film is different. In this work, for the costumes, the keywords were "lightness" and "transparency." I wanted all the clothes to keep their appearance and their natural rendering but allow the movement of the clothes to float as much as possible and for the dancers to feel magnificent and very light. The choreography is beautiful and enhanced my work by allowing the clothes to move and flow.

PS: Corsets are back in fashion, as in the 17th century. What is it about corsets that keep them coming back into fashion?
MCP: Who would not want to wear a corset at least once in a lifetime? The corset is a part of the costume that has always fascinated the world and made women's bodies incredibly feminine for centuries. For this, it has been very difficult to abandon it, and in truth, it never goes out of fashion. And that's why in "Cyrano," I wanted to put them on everyone: women and men. And I made them wear them over the shirt so that they were clearly visible. The actor who plays De Guiche, the wonderful Ben Mendelsohn, loved to wear the bust, and every day, he wanted me in person for the dressing - as a real rite of the 1700s.

Image Source: Sketches by Massimo Cantini ParriniImage Source: Photoshop by Elena Pavinato

PS: The look of the makeup is striking especially, in the first few scenes - white painted faces, intricate wigs, etc. What relationship did you have with the beauty team? I'm curious what collaboration between departments looks like, if there has been any.
MCP: With makeup and hair, there has been a wonderful understanding since the beginning, and it is rare to find it. I had previously worked with [makeup designer] Alessandro Bertolazzi, and subsequently I recommended him to Joe. I believe it is very important for all the craft departments to work together and build the image of the characters together so that they are right from head to toe. I have to say that Alessandro and [hair designer] Sian Miller have done magnificent work in "Cyrano" - a perfect balance between the past and fashion. I would like to make films with them again.

PS: Did you have a favorite costume? I personally loved the sheep ballerinas (seen all too briefly!).
MCP: I loved creating the costumes for De Guiche so much. The idea of keeping it always pink throughout the film was amazing; even the high official uniform is pink! Also, the costumes for the baroque dance at the theater: the wonderful sheep, which were made in tulle, and Montfleury the singer [played by Mark Benton], gave me a lot of satisfaction. Montfleury was divine - another crazy good actor!

PS: Was it difficult to work during COVID? How has your work changed during the pandemic?
MCP: It was very difficult, not only with the standard COVID protocol, but also not being able to try on and move the costumes on a live model before the actors and extras came to the fittings, which we always do when we are making costumes. All the costumes had to be disinfected as soon as the fitting was done or the day of shooting was finished, which is time consuming, and we needed many more staff to help us in this work.

Storm Reid Brightens Up Prada's Front Row in a Yellow Belted Shirtdress

Storm Reid brought the sunshine to Prada's front row at Milan Fashion Week, sporting a bright yellow belted collared shirtdress that suggests the starlet is ready for spring. Sharing the VIP row with a cadre of noteworthy celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Rita Ora, the starlet looked sporty and cool down to her accessories: a green shoulder bag, the brand's white rubber foam sandals, and silver crystal logo earrings, all from the fashion house.

As with many other Prada style moments, Reid shared the look on Instagram, writing, "BRIGHT LIGHT 💛" Indeed, she illuminated the show with her embrace of the sunny shade, which was seen all over the spring 2022 runways. The 18-year-old actress also highlighted her favorite moments in a reels video, sharing glimpses of the show invitation, her car jam session, and some looks from the collection.

"Euphoria" star Hunter Schafer, Kaia Gerber and Kendall Jenner were among the stars modeling the collection, the second collaboration between creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons. White logo tanks, horizontally divided skirts, and wool sweaters were recurring items on the runway. Similarly, a few tailored coat dresses embellished with Prada pearls at the neckline made a case for power dressing with a touch of glamour.

Elsewhere, single-breasted coats and double-breasted jackets were decorated with faux fur and paillettes on the sleeves. A series of glossy leather jackets in black, olive green and hot pink suggested the designers are tapped into the Matrix trend that's swept over New York Fashion Week.

Reid would fit right in many of these silhouettes, as a regular wearer of the Italian label's designs. Scroll on for Reid's latest Prada look, as well as a glimpse of the front row celebrities and the collection.

Rihanna Brings Her Maternity Style to Milan Fashion Week in Head-to-Toe Gucci

Bringing her boundary-pushing maternity style to Milan Fashion Week, Rihanna attended Gucci's fall 2022 runway show with boyfriend A$AP Rocky. In line with previous style moments since she announced her pregnancy, the business mogul opted for a bump-revealing latex and lace crop top paired with low-slung black trousers with a dragon motif on the right leg. A purple faux-fur jacket added color and warmth to the Gucci ensemble, while a reflective metallic hair piece brought a touch of glamour. Rihanna's entire look was pulled from the Gucci prefall 2022 collection.

The stylish pair were hard to miss, even in the pink, mirror-filled room where the Gucci show was held. A$AP Rocky was decked out in a black bomber jacket and leather pants, accessorized with yellow gloves and a Gucci-logo-embossed briefcase. The couple joined Jared Leto, Serena Williams and daughter Olympia, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and other celebrities in the front row.

The collection marked the debut of Gucci's new buzzy collaboration with Adidas. Combining Gucci's heritage silhouettes with Adidas's sportswear aesthetic, it featured an array of tracksuit-inspired separates, from a blue zippered corset to a red V-neck maxi dress featuring Adidas's stripe motif. There were also new iterations of Gucci's iconic bamboo-handle bag in the form of large travel totes and crossbody styles, as well as suits featuring sequins, blue corduroy, python leather, and a variety of prints. Striped berets and balaclavas were also worth noting, as were the many vintage-inspired lace pieces that resembled Rihanna's crop top. Find some of our favorite looks ahead, and get a glimpse of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky at the show.

Katy Perry's Sleek All-Leather Look Emanates Power

Katy Perry's new chic style direction continues. On Thursday evening, Perry paid a visit to "Jimmy Kimmel Live" alongside cojudges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan to promote the latest season of "American Idol." With the help of her stylist, Tatiana Waterford, the "When I'm Gone" singer dressed in a head-to-toe leather ensemble by Georgian designer Aleksandre Akhalkatsishvili.

Both crafted from vegan leather, the cropped blazer featured tie accents around the waist, and the matching straight-leg pants had the same wrap detailing. For accessories, the style duo chose gold-plated spiral earrings from Bar Jewellery and black platform heels. Leather, cutouts, and corsets are all part of Perry's recent edgier transition, which she notably introduced as she brought back her signature dark hair.

At the CMAs in November, Perry debuted her new look wearing a caramel-colored Vivienne Westwood dress with a corseted bodice and one shoulder, and since then, she's continued to wear sleek, sophisticated pieces at events - like her football-inspired ruched Alex Perry dress at the NFL Honors and Mugler catsuit on "Saturday Night Live" - and even in her recent "When I'm Gone" music video. Just a few days before she was spotted in her black leather outfit, she also wore a snakeskin leather coat and matching trousers with a neon-green crop top, all from Rotate Birger Christensen.

She hasn't completely abandoned her theatrical, quirky style, though. As she left "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday night, she was photographed wearing a giant poop costume, an outfit she's worn during her playful Las Vegas residency. From beer-can dresses to mushroom hats, Perry's Vegas residency is full of the kitschy, campy fashion she's known for. Over the years, she's rocked outfits inspired by sparkly cheeseburgers, chandeliers, and even Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Perhaps now her glitzy, over-the-top style is only reserved for the singer's performances. Ahead, get a closer look at Perry's latest outfit.

Halle Bailey's Backless Dress Features One of Spring's Hottest Color Trends

Halle Bailey just gave a stamp of approval to one of spring's biggest color trends: soft lilac. The singer posed on a rooftop in a lavender, ankle-length maxi that would make anyone look forward to the new season. Featuring a high turtleneck and long, faux-fur-trimmed mesh sleeves, the design blends winter and spring fashion trends seamlessly. And it wouldn't be a Halle Bailey outfit if there wasn't an unexpected cutout somewhere. In a carousel post shared on Instagram, the Gen Z star positioned herself to reveal a daring open back and matching strappy mules. And with that, the heart-emoji comments came rolling.

Whether she's channeling the little mermaid in a strappy green bikini or stopping traffic in Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week, Bailey's style moments always give us plenty to talk about. The 21-year-old singer is a fan of bold cutouts, sheer gowns, and other fitted silhouettes that push boundaries. With her recent pastel look, she joins a short list of celebrities like Storm Reid who are embracing color for spring.

Bailey recently joined her sister Chlöe in a Twitch battle with the goal of inspiring Black girls to get involved with coding and tech. As the "Little Mermaid" star recently told POPSUGAR, "You deserve to be here just like everyone else is here. Don't let anyone shut you out or try to shut you down, because you are special and perfect." The singer inspires confidence not just with her boundary-pushing style but through her actions as well. Scroll on to see her trendy lavender dress.

This $65 Quilted Jacket Will Be the Star of My Spring Wardrobe

I'm so excited for spring that I'm trying to manifest warmer weather through my wardrobe. So far, it's safe to say that it's not working - it's currently snowing where I live in Minnesota, and the seven-day forecast looks seriously bleak. Nevertheless, I'm not-so-quietly building my closet up for less dire temperatures. Last week, I stumbled across the perfect pair of subtly distressed high-rise jeans. This week, I'm living for the Old Navy StretchTech Oversized Quilted Shacket ($65), my latest pre-spring purchase.

I bought the shacket in Terrestrial Green, resisting the urge to also scoop it up in the white Wish Bone color. I fell even more in love with the shacket's quilted texture IRL; it gives the casual coat a luxe look. My only complaint? Upon trying it on when it arrived, I realized that one thing's for sure: it lives up to its name of being very oversized. As someone who usually opts for more fitted silhouettes, it was a definite change from what I'm used to.

To be honest, the oversized look of this shacket is just a bit too oversized for me (it's giving "I-stole-my-boyfriend's-jacket" vibes), so I plan to swap my medium for a small the next time I'm at the Mall of America. Even so, I've been wearing it nonstop around my apartment: it's comfy and lightweight, and it dressed up my tank-top-and-leggings combo, making me look a little more put together on my Zoom meetings.

According to Old Navy, this quilted shacket is "a great transitional piece that carries you from winter to spring." I agree wholeheartedly. As I impatiently wait for warmer days, I can already picture myself throwing it on to run errands or for a walk in the park with friends. I don't think it will keep me particularly warm, per se, so it's definitely going to remain an around-the-house layer for me for the time being - but god, does that make me want spring even more.

Julia Fox Sat Front Row at Diesel in a Yellow Leather Set and Latex Bandeau Top

Julia Fox is enjoying something of a fashion renaissance. As the news of her breakup with Kanye West swarmed the internet, the actress was prepping backstage at LaQuan Smith during New York Fashion Week, getting ready to open the show in a racy black cutout design dubbed the new revenge dress. A week later, the "Uncut Gems" star took to the streets of Milan to showcase her edgy fashion sense, brightening up Diesel's front row in a yellow leather ensemble designed by the brand.

Setting aside the dark aesthetic she adopted as West's muse during Paris Fashion Week, Fox embraced a sunnier vibe with a trucker jacket with white stitching, layered over a black latex bandeau bra top and a pair of yellow "pantaboots." She retained some of her signature edge, however, by accessorizing with black latex gloves, a matching yellow handbag, and silver hoop earrings. The Matrix influence was visible throughout her sharp and futuristic silhouette, including the makeup: smudged white eyeliner and black lipstick. She credited Pat McGrath for the beauty look.

Although her romance with the rapper likely influenced her latest outfit choice (West gifted her an entire hotel room filled with Diesel racks), Fox's connection with the brand precedes her short-lived relationship, as she starred in Diesel's fall campaign in 2020. So, it was no surprise she sat front row at Glenn Martens's Fall 2022 Diesel collection debut, next to model Richie Shazam and actor Aron Piper. In an industrial lot, models paraded in tiny denim bra tops, distressed jeans, metallic miniskirts, and other Y2K-inspired styles. There were also high-shine leather separates, over-the-top faux-fur coats, and heavily distressed denim reminiscent of the '90s. The full collection merged Diesel's utilitarian aesthetic with Martens's avant-garde eye to great effect. Ahead, watch Julia Fox in action.

Zoë Kravitz's Cutout Dress Is a Master Class in Method Dressing

If method dressing is an art form, than Zoë Kravitz should teach a master class. At the London premiere of "The Batman," which stars the 33-year-old actress alongside Robert Pattinson, Kravitz owned the red carpet in a black Saint Laurent column dress with bold cutouts. The design featured a scallop-edged halter neck and bat-shaped underboob cutouts.

Ahead of the movie release on March 4, it's safe to say Kravitz has embodied her Catwoman character through her wardrobe, with edgy, "Matrix"-style looks that could double as costumes. Following her smart Saint Laurent patent-leather trench-coat moment in Paris, Kravitz knew just how to up the ante at the premiere.

Keeping the rest of the look pared down, the "High Fidelity" star opted for black mules and a pair of black and pearl earrings as the only accessories. A sleek updo allowed every piece to shine, playing up the Catwoman theme while highlighting her neutral makeup.

Saint Laurent seems to be a go-to brand for Kravitz, who also made headlines when she donned a naked dress from the fashion house at the Met Gala. And when you consider the actress's edgy sense of style and the brand's mastery of the female form, their partnership makes sense.

Pattison joined his costar in an austere suit, pairing an oversize gray blazer with a black turtleneck and matching gray trousers. He also kept his accessories minimal, as if the duo had coordinated their looks down to the last detail. Ahead, see the pair in action and relive Kravitz's stunning red carpet moment.

How the "Pam & Tommy" Costume Designer Re-Created Pamela's "Baywatch" Suit

Re-creating Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's outfits for "Pam & Tommy" was no easy feat, but costume designer Kameron Lennox rose to the challenge. The mastermind behind the Hulu miniseries's wardrobe, Lennox and her team brought the former couple's most memorable '90s fashion moments back to life nearly three decades later. Their strategy? Combing the racks of thrift shops and remaking pieces from scratch for Lily James and Sebastian Stan. "The looks that Pam wore in 'Barb Wire,' 'Baywatch,' the infamous wedding bikini, on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,' and to the deposition were historic and iconic," Lennox tells POPSUGAR. "To tell our story correctly, we had to make sure we were showing the choices that were made in that moment in time."

Working closely with the show's hair and makeup departments, Lennox helped transform James and Stan into eerily spot-on Anderson and Lee doppelgangers. When the paparazzi captured set photos of James filming in a red "Baywatch" one-piece, well before "Pam & Tommy" debuted, fans could hardly believe how much the British actor resembled the Canadian model. The swimsuit had the exact same high-leg cut, crimson color, and close fit, and James's thin eyebrows, blond hair, and french manicure completed her metamorphosis.

As "Pam & Tommy" episodes continue dropping on Hulu weekly, POPSUGAR caught up with Lennox to learn more about the complexities of re-creating Anderson's outfits for the small screen. Ahead, she opens up about accommodating James's sizable prosthetics, ordering custom-made latex dresses, shopping vintage at Los Angeles thrift stores, and more.

Iris Law Brings Back Beyoncé's 2003 MTV Movie Awards Dress

Fashion's next generation is mining the past. We've seen Zendaya kick off a new year of red carpet looks in a Valentino dress from 1992, Olivia Rodrigo wear vintage Atelier Versace to the MTV VMAs, and Zahara Jolie-Pitt wear mom Angelina Jolie's 2014 Oscars dress to the "Eternals" premiere. Now, we have Iris Law bringing back a Versace dress once worn by Beyoncé.

The 21-year-old model attended a London Fashion Week party hosted by Perfect Magazine on Feb. 21 wearing a whimsical dress from Versace's fall 2003 collection. The gold-chartreuse dress features a satin lace-up bodice with a ruffled handkerchief skirt. Law accessorized with brown slingback heels and a single silver hoop.

Beyoncé, meanwhile, previously wore the dress to the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, where she was nominated for breakthrough female performance for her role as Foxxy Cleopatra in "Austin Powers in Goldmember." Her accessories were decidedly less understated, consisting of strappy metallic sandals, a statement necklace, and matching drop earrings. In addition to Beyoncé's red carpet appearance, Christina Aguilera modeled the dress in a campaign shot by Steven Meisel.

Law, who is the daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost, has appeared in campaigns for Fendi, Marc Jacobs, and Burberry Beauty. She recently modeled for British Vogue - wearing the Miu Miu skirt set - and was also Vogue Hong Kong's February cover star. Law's relationship with Versace in particular has grown over the last year, and she sat front row at the brand's spring 2022 runway show.
