Alexandra Daddario Gets Married in a Silk Gown and Floor-Length Wedding Veil

Alexandra Daddario and Andrew Form are officially married! The couple tied the knot at Preservation Hall in New Orleans in June, dressed to the nines in wedding-day outfits fit for the Louisiana heat. Inspired by the style trends of 1920s New Orleans, Daddario wore a Danielle Frankel wedding dress in pleated silk with lace appliqué and a tulle Watteau. "Thank you for creating this incredible dress!" she commented on the designer's Instagram post. Keeping her accessories light, the "White Lotus" star paired the dress with stud earrings, an embroidered parasol, and a floor-length veil that rivaled the ruffled hem of her dress. "I wanted it to feel like it all worked in the heat too," she tells Vogue. "Nothing too heavy or serious."

Speaking on her decision to work with Frankel ahead of her big day, Daddario added, "I fell in love with Danielle Frankel's dresses. I followed them on Instagram. They sent me a message, and we chatted, and when I went to their studio, I just felt beautiful in everything. I chose my dress because it felt like it belonged in New Orleans and was the right choice for the Louisiana heat."

"He ultimately chose a beautiful, not-too-serious suit that worked for a New Orleans wedding in the middle of June."

Complementing Daddario's look, Form opted for a Brunello Cucinelli pinstripe suit in beige with matching shoes and a white button-up shirt. "I am constantly stealing his button-downs to wear with jeans, and they are always Brunello," Daddario says. "He ultimately chose a beautiful, not-too-serious suit that worked for a New Orleans wedding in the middle of June." After the ceremony, the couple headed through the French Quarter to Bar Marilou, where Daddario donned a ruffled tulle party dress reminiscent of a ballerina's tutu, which she paired with bubblegum-pink platform heels and bright-red lipstick.

The couple first met during a chance encounter on the streets of New York City. "He was also on a walk, and we passed each other downtown," Daddario told Brides in a recent interview. "He turned back and said, 'Hi,' just as I was turning around to glance back at him. I laughed and said, 'Hi,' and then we both laughed about how we were the only two people on what is normally an incredibly busy street, and he asked if he could take me to dinner. I said, 'OK,' against my better judgment." They later had their first date in Form's room at the Greenwich Hotel.

Daddario and Form made their relationship public in an Instagram post shared on May 4, 2021. "I love you . . . 'and even that is an understatement,'" Daddario captioned a photo of herself and Form sharing a kiss. A few months later, on July 7, 2021, the pair made their red carpet debut during the premiere of "The White Lotus" in Los Angeles. On Dec. 3, 2021, People confirmed that Daddario and Form became engaged in August 2021.

Cardi B Teases New Music in a Crystallized Bathrobe and Towel

Cardi B is serving bedazzled opulence for breakfast in her latest Instagram post. In a move to promote her new single "Hot Sh*t," set to come out this Friday, the Grammy Award-winning rapper recorded herself singing on a rooftop in a crystal-embellished bathrobe in front of Playboy dinnerware. In true Cardi B fashion, her robe and head towel were custom made by crystal artist Vincent Michael from the Disco Daddy Studio, and her entire glitzy look was styled by Kollin Carter.

Celebrity friends were quick to comment on the star's video, including Lizzo, who wrote, "F*cking beautiful," and Normani, who left a slew of heart emoji under the post. "Hot Sh*t" will be Cardi's first single in over a year and include features from Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Lil Durk. Although Cardi has stayed busy this past year, becoming a mother of two and featuring on Summer Walker and SZA's "No Love" remix, she said the pandemic definitely put a hold on her own musical projects.

"Last year, I was like, I gotta put out my album this year. But, then I just stopped working on my album out of nowhere because I feel like the whole COVID thing discouraged me to put out my album," she told XXL in April 2021. Regarding creating a second album, she shared in a December Instagram video, "It's been a lot trying to balance out my new motherf*cking life." Four years after her debut studio album, "Invasion of Privacy," it would seem Cardi is back, and we can't wait to hear the music and appreciate the looks she has in store for us.

The Reason Mabel Wears Marigold in Only Murders in the Building

It would be hard to steal a scene from legends like Steve Martin and Martin Short, unless, of course, you're Selena Gomez's perfectly fuzzy coat in Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building." The show is back with season two plus a bundle of increasingly significant outerwear - and costumes in general - curated by Dana Covarrubias.

"This is no longer a show about murders in a building . . . this is a show about COATS!"

The series introduces new characters, who step onto the scene and end up influencing Mabel's (Gomez) wardrobe. Alice (played by Cara Delevingne), for one, opens Mabel's eyes to the art world and encourages her to tap into her creative side in bold, splashy patterns. When they meet, Mabel is wearing a tangerine Nanushka dress, a sheer watercolor print trench by Dries Van Noten, and knee-high boots from By Far that, according to an email exchange with Covarrubias, were put together to make her look like a painting. Covarrubias said that Gomez loved wearing the '70s vintage, silver sequined "disco ball dress" that was a new silhouette for Mabel, and, as expected, her lineup of vibrant, textured coats.

"In season two, we had an inside joke amongst the costume department crew that this is no longer a show about murders in a building . . . this is a show about COATS!" Covarrubias said. "The coat is an essential element to any detective's look. Each of our main characters has an iconic coat and a special relationship to their coat." Mabel, whose coat is her armor and a way to protect herself from the outside world, wears jackets sourced from The RealReal, The Outnet, Farfetch, local NYC thrift shops like Beacon's Closet, Bloomingdale's, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Ahead, you can uncover even more secrets about the careful intention behind Mabel's outfits, color palette, and jewelry - and learn where you can shop her signature gold hoops and layered necklaces that have made their way from season one to season two.

Adele Wows in a Black Corset Gown Out With Boyfriend Rich Paul

Adele and her boyfriend, American sports agent Rich Paul, made a rare appearance together at the wedding of model Kate Bock and NBA player Kevin Love on Saturday, June 25, at the New York Public Library. The couple, who recently fueled engagement rumors when the 34-year-old singer wore a massive, pear-shaped diamond ring to the 2022 BRIT Awards, were coordinated in all-black for the glamorous occasion.

Adele's wedding guest dress was an Alexander McQueen lace and tulle corseted design that came in an off-the-shoulder silhouette with softly layered material forming three-quarter length sleeves. The singer has consistently opted to bare her shoulders for both red carpet appearances and onstage performances, proving she knows what works for her. Her wedding guest dress is not unlike the Armani Privé number she sported at the BRITs, although that gown came with dotted tulle. She completed her wedding look with diamond-encrusted hoop earrings, a satin box clutch, and simple pointed-toe pumps - all classic accessories that enhanced her McQueen moment.

Adele, Paul, LeBron James, and his wife Savannah posed for photographer Allan Zepeda in front of a marble wall, showing off their outfits. Paul opted for a tuxedo finished with a satin trim and lapel, matching bow tie, and patent oxfords, while LeBron chose a velvet bow tie, and Savannah wore an asymmetrical, floor-sweeping dress with a chiffon overlay and crystalized neckline to match her Alexander McQueen box clutch and Aquazzura Love Link sandals.

Bella Hadid's Optical-Illusion Jeans Aren't Actually on Fire

Bella Hadid is playing tricks on our eyes in her latest streetwear look. On Monday, the supermodel stepped out on the streets of New York City outside the Marc Jacobs fashion show in a pair of graphic jeans that created the illusion of shredded denim. The "ripped" jeans were screen-printed with a singed design that made the front of both legs appear carefully tattered and torn, all the way down to Hadid's lustrous white platform loafers. She styled the jeans with a black varsity jacket layered over a lettuce-trim crop top, as well as a button-up shirt, which she wrapped around her head like a scarf to cover her blunt micro bangs.

Looking effortlessly cool, Hadid also paired the low-rise jeans with a thin belt, black sunglasses, a mini JanSport backpack, and a pair of white headphones that made the midriff-baring look feel like a nod to 2004. The jeans themselves were two-toned, with one leg in a medium wash and the other in a slightly lighter shade. In some spots, the denim looked bleached or frayed, while other bits of fabric looked like they'd barely been rescued from Olivia Rodrigo's ex-boyfriend's bedroom in the "Good 4 U" music video.

Hadid wore the look the same day she was spotted rocking matching bowl-cut mullets and bleached eyebrows with her sister, Gigi Hadid, at the Marc Jacobs show. On the runway, Bella wore a voluminous black-and-white sleeveless ball gown made with Matrix-esque vinyl, while Gigi wore a dramatically oversize, ribbed-knit sweater in watermelon pink.

See how Hadid styled the chic graphic jeans from all angles ahead.

23 Stylish Outfits to Try If You Have a Small Chest

Dressing a small chest may present some challenges at times - bras that never fit quite right and straps that seem to always fall down, to name a few - but being a member of the IBTC also has its perks. For instance, you don't even think twice about going braless. And you can experiment with pretty much any kind of silhouette and shape without worrying about too many nip slips. In fact, having too many options at your disposal might be the root problem: How are you supposed to narrow it down, anyway?

One place to start with is texture. Look for pieces that feature ruffles, bows, or some type of voluminous element around the chest area. You can also opt for sleeveless styles - like a high-neck halter top or one-shoulder blouse - that highlight your arms. Take a cue from Jennifer Lopez, who recently styled a lightweight pussy-bow blouse with a ruffled collar. Other stylish items for small chested folks to consider: a strapless top with a feather-trimmed neckline or a cropped camisole with rhinestone fringe embellishing the hem.

Wearing graphic prints and interesting construction details is another styling tip for those with small chests. The printed Marine Serre catsuit seen on Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon, during Paris Fashion Week illustrates the visual power of a bold pattern. Similarly, refer to the off-the-shoulder bodysuit Meghan Markle wore at the Invictus Games in April, which calls attention with its draped neckline accentuated by a textured knot.

For more small chest fashion inspiration, incorporate these styling tricks the next time you're getting ready and deciding what to wear.

How to dress up your small chest

Slip into a silky bralette, high-neck top, or any intricately designed shirt that places the focus on the garment itself. The "dress over shirt" route is a simple fix to get the most out of your clothes-a spaghetti strap dress layered over a short-sleeved turtleneck dress is a '90s-inspired look that never fails.

How to highlight your small chest

If camouflaging your bust area with frills or loud prints isn't quite your style, then go braless! All you need is some boob tape and nipple covers if you don't feel comfortable exposing your nipples.

Small-chested friends, keep scrolling to learn more about dressing for your boob shape and get a kick start on shopping with our expertly curated picks from all your favorite brands.

See the Barbie and Ken Movie Outfits That Have Everybody Talking

Greta Gerwig's live-action "Barbie" stars Margot Robbie as the iconic character and Ryan Gosling as boyfriend Ken. Gosling even bleached his hair platinum blond to slip into the look. The Warner Bros. movie, which released official stills on June 15, has begun filming in LA and Venice Beach, CA, where we've gotten a glimpse of the incredible costume design from Jacqueline Durran, who made waves with her work for "Spencer," "Little Women," and the live-action version of "Beauty and the Beast." While the former project, starring Kristen Stewart, involved close collaboration with the Chanel Couture house, there will likely be plenty of studio-made pieces for "Barbie," as proven by the one-of-a-kind looks Robbie and Gosling have already been spotted in.

A first peek at Barbie's retro style showcases Robbie sitting in her iconic convertible wearing a blue-and-white striped halter top with a sweetheart neckline; a thick, polka-dot headband; and a chunky beaded bracelet. Meanwhile, Ken gets his own Calvin Klein-inspired branded underwear, with the waistband peeking out prominently from his denim-on-denim coordinates. The couple also sported Western rodeo outfits, complete with fringe and intricate embroidery, as well as neon '90s rollerblading sets - and the complementary his-and-her costumes surely will not end there.

Gerwig's "Barbie" is, in part, responsible for the excitement surrounding the Barbiecore aesthetic in fashion, which is also founded on the resurgence of popular '90s and Y2K trends. With stars like Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly serving up pink looks on the red carpet and Cardi B and Lizzo wearing head-to-toe pink in the streets, Barbie fashion inspiration is everywhere this season.

Robbie and Gosling bring back the most original iterations of the look ahead. Watch this space as we gather even more pictures of their wardrobe from upcoming scenes in anticipation of the film's release in July 2023.

Kate Bock Got Married in a Lacy Beaded White Gown and Sheer Veil

Model Kate Bock married NBA basketball player Kevin Love on Saturday, June 25, at the New York Public Library. All eyes were on Bock, who stunned in a lacy white wedding gown custom-made by Ralph Lauren. The bridal design is embroidered with beads fashioned as flowers throughout the bodice and features a high neck, long sleeves, and a prominent back cutout trimmed with lace. It flows into a floor-sweeping skirt with a long, glimmering train for maximum visual impact. "I was so lucky to work with the Ralph Lauren team on designing my dream dress," she tells Vogue. "They are true experts, and I had so much fun working with them on creating something that was classic and fit in seamlessly with the theme of our wedding. I was inspired by Grace Kelly's wedding dress, so we used that as a jumping off point for a modern-day, beaded lace gown that was totally my style."

Bock styled her blond waves into a loose, low ponytail with a few curls pulled out and tied a long, sheer veil around it to enhance the drama of her ensemble. She kept her jewelry classic with a pair of pearl drop earrings and a diamond ring. Love matched his wife's old-school classic elegance in an ivory lapel jacket, a crisp white button-down shirt tucked into tailored black trousers, and a matching bow tie, also designed by Ralph Lauren. The couple looked stunning as they climbed the steps of the library, where they posed for photos before heading to Astor Hall for the ceremony.

Bock later changed into an equally stunning off-the-shoulder maxi gown in lustrous white silk by Danielle Frankel for the first dance and then into a draped white mini by the same designer for the afterparty. Documenting her big day on Instagram, Bock wrote, "It was everything. The ceremony was perfect, the venue glowed, the guests were endless smiling and we couldn't have felt more loved. We only wish we could have lived through every moment for longer. 🤍🤍🤍"

Lori Harvey Stepped Out in a Sheer Black Dress and High Spiral Heels

A newly single Lori Harvey made a stylish appearance at The Venetian in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 25. The model attended the opening of the Japanese restaurant WAKUDA in a curve-hugging black dress that would make anyone do a double take. The knee-length design is Rick Owens's Dustulator dress and features a cowl neck, ruched midsection, and sheer inserts down the bodice.

The dress brings to mind a black cutout number Harvey wore just a couple months earlier for a night out with friends, also designed by Rick Owens. Just like her latest look, the LBD packed plenty of sex appeal and effortless sophistication with its delicate draping and softly gathered fabric. Harvey is clearly a fan of the fashion designer's quiet luxury ethos and avant-garde aesthetic.

The Skn by LH founder completed her ensemble with a pair of the Bottega Veneta spiral python heels in a chocolate shade and accessorized with a few Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels, including Cartier's Diamond-Paved Love Bracelet, Juste un Clou Bracelet and Panthère De Cartier Watch in yellow gold, as well as the Van Cleef & Arpels Vintage Alhambra Bracelet.

Taking to Instagram to document her night, Harvey simply captioner her post, "12 hours in Vegas ✨." She finished with a sleek back bun with baby hairs framing her face and her signature soft-glam makeup. This Vegas trip follows another stylish outing earlier this month, where Harvey stepped out for a baby shower in a Joah Brown bra top and vintage Roberto Cavalli low-slung animal-print skirt. The multihyphenate continues to inspire with her refined personal style.

Megan Fox Nails Barbiecore in a Pink Bra Top Out With Machine Gun Kelly

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have been showing us their personal take on Barbiecore, and Fox's latest appearance on the streets of New York City continues to embody the trend. The star stepped out for MGK's Madison Square Garden "Mainstream Sellout" concert in a hot pink metallic co-ord set from the Italian label Andamane. With the help of friend and stylist Maeve Reilly, Fox, 36, played up the monochrome moment with a fuchsia micro eternity clutch from emerging handbag label L'alingi. Vegan leather wraparound sandals from Femme LA - which come with a 4.5-inch stiletto heel and sharp, triangle-shaped sole - completed the look. Even her nails were painted a complementary sugary shade of pink. Accessory-wise, she opted to wear only her toi et moi emerald and diamond engagement ring, keeping all the attention on her Barbiecore separates. Just the day before, Fox attended the June 27 premiere of her fiancé's Hulu documentary "Life in Pink." For that event, she chose a Nensi Dojaka blush-toned dress with a striking cutout at the bust. And on June 16, she proved her love for a shimmering moment when she watched MGK perform at Miami's FTX Arena. The couple also recently debuted matching pink hairstyles that they were still rocking for the afterparty following MGK's NYC stop on his tour.

Ahead, see how Fox took this fashion moment from day to night before checking out the animal print patchwork coat, mesh top, and magenta leather pants that MGK wore to complement her look. Then, shop all the pieces that make up her summery hot pink outfit.

Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Kendall Jenner Model Sky-High Platforms at Marc Jacobs

With bowl-cut mullet hairstyles and bleached eyebrows, the Hadid sisters and Kendall Jenner were almost unrecognizable on the Marc Jacobs fall 2022 runway, where they walked down the catwalks in oversize, deconstructed silhouettes and sky-high white Mary Janes platforms. Jenner wore a blue cable-knit sweater with another matching sweater tied around her waist, worn over a white button-down shirt and white vinyl skirt. Gigi Hadid had a similar look, although she wore a ribbed-knit sweater in an eye-catching shade of pink with a gray vinyl skirt. Marc Jacobs's penchant for volume and layering unexpected pieces together was at play here, taking shape also on Bella Hadid, who was clad in a voluminous black-and-white sleeveless ball gown with a bulbous waist and a bustle.

"We share our choices in contrast to the ongoing brutality and ugliness of a world beyond our insulated but not impermeable walls."

The collection opened on a Matrix-style midi dress in blue vinyl, then segued into an identical trio of gray, green, and lavender looks resembling hospital scrubs. Could it be a reference to the Supreme Court's recent overturning of Roe v. Wade? Possibly. Fashion, for Jacobs, has always mirrored the times we live in. "We share our choices in contrast to the ongoing brutality and ugliness of a world beyond our insulated but not impermeable walls," the designer quoted Nietzsche in the show notes. The following looks explored themes of comfort through oversize sweater shapes; Victorian-era dressing through voluminous ball gowns; and contemporary dress codes through the use of denim and tailored silhouettes.

Held at the New York Public Library on Monday, June 27, the event brought together a star-studded crowd, including the superstar models, Christine Quinn, June Ambrose, Emily Ratajkowski, and Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour. Quinn wore a look from the fall 2021 collection: a bandeau top and matching leggings emblazoned with the Marc Jacobs letters. Ambrose chose a caftan-style midi dress under a black blazer. Ratajkowski opted for a sensual slip dress in a multicolor psychedelic print, and Wintour arrived wearing a floral maxi dress.

Ahead, see who attended the Marc Jacobs fall 2022 runway show, and take a closer peek at the collection's most noteworthy looks.

Megan Fox Wears a Pink Minidress to Match MGK's Crop Top on the Red Carpet

The Sentimental Story Behind Beanie Feldstein's Unique Engagement Ring

Beanie Feldstein's engagement ring is as unique as they come. Just a few days after announcing that she's engaged to girlfriend Bonnie Chance Roberts, the "Funny Girl" star showed off her new stone during a "Late Night With Seth Meyers" appearance on June 27. The ring is shaped like a flower, with one large, central diamond surrounded by 14 smaller teardrop stones that resemble petals, all set on yellow gold. It sparkled bright as Feldstein gushed about Roberts's elaborate surprise proposal, which involved many of her family members and close friends. "Turns out everyone in my life was lying to me," she joked.

London-based jeweler Michelle Oh custom-designed Feldstein's ring and shared several close-up pictures on Instagram, along with details about how the piece came to life. "Bonnie told me that she wanted to create the most special ring possible. Something that was kind of vintage inspired in aesthetic and really one of a kind, like a rare flower in bloom," Oh wrote. She added that "a very sentimental little diamond" from Roberts's mom's ring was also embedded into the band and hidden underneath the floral cluster. Feldstein showed her appreciation for Oh's handiwork by commenting on her post, "the most beautiful ring to ever exist i'm so grateful," while Roberts wrote, "Beyond my dreams and imagination! Most perfect ring for the most perfect girl."

Vintage-inspired designs have been a popular engagement ring choice among celebrities this year, but Feldstein's is one of the more unique and meaningful takes on the trend. Read ahead to zoom in on the star's new accessory.

Billie Eilish's Shorts, Olivia Rodrigo's Cutout Bra, and More Glastonbury Looks

Glastonbury's five-day music festival located in Pilton, Somerset, England, saw some notable celebrity appearances by the likes of Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lily Allen. Working with their stylists, the young stars sourced wardrobes for the event that spoke to their authentic styles, with Eilish choosing a custom look from The Incorporated finished with Nike high-tops and socks, Rodrigo rocking a Chopova Lowena purple gingham swimsuit top with her go-to Dr. Martens boots, and Allen in a monochrome Chanel playsuit.

They weren't the only musicians who stuck to their signatures. Megan Thee Stallion rocked a BDSM-style leather bodysuit designed by Burberry's Riccardo Tisci, and Lorde skipped around in a lavender Dilara Findikoglu corseted bodysuit with ties. Kendrick Lamar sported a Tiffany & Co. pavé diamond crown of thorns, the product of a 10-month collaboration with the jeweler that symbolizes the artistic prowess of singers who came before him. Meanwhile, St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark, and Phoebe Bridgers each performed in a Gucci suit, and Danielle, Alana, and Este Haim coordinated in black triangle bras and leather cargo pants. Offstage, models Iris Law, Poppy Delevingne, and Alexa Chung showed off their favorite festival trends, and actors Sienna Miller, Kit Harington, and Rose Leslie kept their looks effortless and casual.

Eilish protested the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade with a dedicated performance of "Your Power" - and Olivia Rodrigo and Lily Allen stood up for abortion rights by dedicating a rousing duet of "F*ck You" to the Supreme Court.

Simone Biles Effortlessly Styles Over-the-Knee Boots With Short Daisy Dukes

Simone Biles spent time in fiancée Jonathan Owens's hometown of St. Louis. Though the Houston Texans player was in town to host his first football camp, the two made time for sightseeing as Biles showed off her well-curated wardrobe. "in the LOU," she captioned a photo of herself sporting a multicolor, oversize flannel over a white tube top and a pair of distressed denim cutoffs.

Biles chose accessories that further elevated her look, including a pair of white, knee-high, croc-effect boots with a block heel and a square crossbody bag. As for jewelry, Biles kept things minimal in a delicate choker necklace, a pair of earrings, and her oval-shaped diamond engagement ring. While the '90s combination is considered classic, Biles contrasted the plaid shirt's grunge aesthetic with a sharp, statement-making shoe.

It's not the first time the Olympic athlete has displayed her styling prowess. She recently visited the "Cheer" squad in a mint-green halter top from Superdown at the team's live show in Houston on June 10. Before that, she shared her tropical vacation style on Instagram, rocking a white crisscross bralette with yellow high-waisted pants along with a strappy orange bikini and a floppy, wide-brim hat.

Ahead, see a few different versions of Biles's button-down, which can be transitioned from summer to fall. And shop the elevated basics she styled it with to emulate her look.

21 Effortless Ways to Achieve Dressy-Casual Looks

Whether you're headed to a museum date, attending a friend's daytime brunch, or adventuring in a new city, a dressy-casual outfit will strike the perfect balance between refined and relaxed. The dress code invites you to feel comfortable, but not so much that you show up to an office party in jeans, a T-shirt, and flats. When in doubt, one-piece outfits are an easy way to achieve the dressy-casual vibe because they don't require much effort. A flower-print sundress or midi slip design paired with strappy sandals give the impression that you spent more time getting dressed than you really did.

Some popular trends lend themselves to the dressy-casual theme. Festival fashion, for instance, features an array of crochet and cropped separates, fringe- and jewel-embellished pieces, denim staples, and eye-catching accessories. The soft-girl aesthetic, meanwhile, takes a pastel approach to a wide range of dress codes. A lavender halter knit dress paired with wedge sandals or a yellow pearl button-front cardigan worn with black jeans are ideal dressy-casual outfits. Elsewhere, with the pearlcore trend still going strong this summer, glam up a regular blouse or denim jacket by sewing strings of pearls onto it to deliver a more elegant look.

The secret to dressy casual is balancing the fancier pieces with more laidback items and accessories. Your favorite pair of kitten heels or your go-to beaded clutch will always help you reach new levels of chic. Flat sandals, alternatively, can pare back a dressy combo of tailored trousers and a satin blouse.

Read on to find out how to master the dressy-casual way of dressing.

What Is Dressy Casual?

Also called smart casual, dressy-casual attire combines relaxed, everyday basics with more formal, office-ready items. Think wearing a silky blouse with your favorite pair of jeans, styling a festival-ready mesh-lined maxi dress with flat sandals, or wearing tailored trousers with a linen shirt. Depending on your office dress code, you can get away with dressy-casual looks every day.
