Lucy Hale Doesn't Dress For Men - and She's Buying That Cartier Bracelet For Herself

After reading Lucy Hale's interview in Cosmopolitan's March 2020 issue, I was like, "Dang! I like this girl!" The 30-year-old actress and Pretty Little Liars vet is the new star of CW's Katy Keene, for which she constantly dresses up like it's Valentine's Day. But Lucy's style is quite different in real life. Cosmo writer Jessica M. Goldstein spends time with Lucy in New York, where they got piercings and Lucy commented on all things love, sex, fashion, and style. In short, I really like her go-getter attitude. She acknowledges that most people see her as having "that Forever 21 vibe about her," but Lucy has defined her image once and for all:

"A lot of guys don't like a bold lip color. I love a bold lip color. I don't care. I don't care! I truly don't dress for men at all. I dress for me and what I think is cool . . . More masculine stuff is really cool to me. I've never been the girl who's like, 'Ooh, tighter, lower, shorter.' I constantly want to dress like an Olsen twin," she said.

Lucy went on to talk about feeling secure enough to buy herself a special piece of jewelry that might normally be gifted by an SO:

"Okay, so I've wanted that Cartier Love bracelet for a long time. But I was like, Oh, I need to wait for someone to buy it for me. Now, my friends are like, 'No, you buy it yourself.' You've got to reward yourself. Otherwise, what are we doing?"

Scroll down to check out Lucy's looks in the editorial shoot - which range from Gucci platform boots and sheer Isabel Marant separates to the Salvatore Ferragamo knit co-ord set she wears on the cover - then head over to Cosmo to read the full feature.

This Sexy-as-Hell Dress Trend Is Perfect For Valentine's Day

The Valentine's Day dress can go a few different ways: sweet and romantic, low-key cute, or sexy as hell. If you're planning to dial it up on Feb. 14, we've got a trend for you: the '80s minidress. From hot-pink hues with puffy sleeves to glam metallic fabrics and punchy floral prints, this playful trend is all about fun and definitely ticks the "sexy" box whether you go for a form-fitting silhouette, plunging neckline, or up-to-there slit.

With nostalgia playing a huge role in fashion right now, there's no better time to embrace this almost-prom-like dress trend. The Spring/Summer 2020 runways were flooded with '80s and early-90s fashion with Oscar de la Renta, Giambattista Valli, Valentino, and Saint Laurent leading the way on the mini front; think ear-grazing puff sleeves, flippy taffeta skirts, fuchsia hues, and slick, liquid-y fabrics. While many of these throwback details have translated quite literally to the minis on the market right now, there are more subdued takes on this trend from slinky satin styles with a just-bold-enough shoulder to gently puffed sleeves and shimmering fabrics in a spectrum of shades.

Since the in-your-face look certainly stands out, a simple pump, sleek ankle boot, or strappy sandal is the way to go when styling the '80s mini for a night out. As for your jewelry, you can really go for it with a rhinestone earring or temper the look with a delicate hoop and a couple of stackable rings. You do you!

As Emily Ratajkowski Promised, Her Inamorata Lingerie Line Is Sexy and Sweet

Emily Ratajkowski's line of sexy Inamorata bikinis just got a sweet counterpart in her new lingerie collection. She's already expanded her line into bodysuits and even suits, so it makes sense that she's trying her hand at lingerie. While the 28-year-old model did dabble with a few lingerie pieces awhile back, she dropped a new, more complete collection along with steamy campaign images.

Emrata posted a couple of behind-the-scene shots leading up to the release of the collection. She posed wearing a sheer polka-dot print bra and thong set with a pair of button-up jeans left open and captioned the video, "Our sheer polka dot collection (and a whole new website) is live @inamoratawoman." She also posted a video of herself wearing a bodysuit that came in the same print. The range includes a selection of lingerie shown on models of all body types. From pastel-hued lacy thongs to neon green bodysuits, Emrata has it covered. The best part of the line is that nothing is priced above $85. Take a look at Inamorata Lingerie collection ahead (and shop some pieces, too).
