Florals for spring may not be groundbreaking, but velvet in the dead of summer? Now that, my friends, is groundbreaking indeed. Demi Lovato pioneered the trend when she rocked the hell out of a velvet minidress for date-night with her fiancé, Max Ehrich. While enjoying a dinner out at Nobu Malibu, the newly engaged singer wore a blush pink Alexandre Vauthier number with a plunging neckline and ruched fitted skirt similar to that of the white Retrofête cocktail dress she wore when Max popped the big question last week. She's definitely got that bride-to-be glow, if we do say so ourselves!
As for Demi's accessories, they were on-freakin'-point for the occasion, thanks to stylist Siena Montesano. Gold hoop earrings by designer Jennifer Fisher? Check.
