Surprise! Storm Reid Has a Collection With PacSun Launching on Her 18th Birthday

Storm Reid is teaming up with PacSun to release her first-ever fashion collection called the Storm Reid x PacSun ArashiBlu Collection. The collection officially launches today, July 1, which happens to be her 18th birthday. The swimwear line focuses on body positivity and includes an array of swimsuits, cover-ups, dresses, tops, pants, and even matching headwraps.

"I've always loved fashion. I look at fashion as a space to express yourself, to be able to go out in the world and put something on, take up space and be yourself, and really let the world know how you're feeling through your outfit. To be able to now have my own fashion collection and endeavors is something that is a blessing and is a real moment," Storm said in a press release.

Storm also named the swimsuits after women who inspire and empower her, which happen to include some famous names you might have heard of like Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Chloe x Halle, and Kyla-Drew Simmons. Besides designing the collection, Storm also cast the models for the campaign shoot. The collection is available now at Pacsun.com in sizes XXS-XL and ranges from $20 to $60. Whitney Peak's Outfit at the Gossip Girl Premiere Feels Like a Nod to Jenny Humphrey

The new Gossip Girl cast finally made their red carpet debut at Wednesday night's NYC premiere, as if we weren't already so hyped for the reboot airing July 8. While every member of the fresh crew was dressed to the nines, one look in particular that stood out was Whitney Peak's head-to-toe Chanel ensemble, only appropriate for a newly minted member of Manhattan's elite. The actress, who plays Zoya Lott, walked the red carpet wearing a gorgeous embroidered bustier dress with a matching organza cape from Chanel's pre-fall 2021 collection. And as a Chanel ambassador, Whitney was naturally sporting jewelry, shoes, and even makeup from the luxury brand.

I don't know about you, but the vampy vibe immediately reminded me of none other than Jenny Humphrey, who, interestingly enough, many fans have been comparing Zoya to since more details of the reboot have emerged. Perhaps Whitney wanted to give a subtle shout-out to her inspo ahead of the show? For what it's worth, I could totally picture Little J wearing something like this to cotillion. Regardless, Whitney certainly exuded the energy of a new It girl in her statement look. Ahead, see close-ups of the budding star's red carpet outfit.

Gossip Girl Here, Reporting About Emily Alyn Lind's Pantsuit Homage to Blake Lively

Could it be simply coincidence that HBO Max Gossip Girl star Emily Alyn Lind arrived on the pink carpet in a pantsuit just like Blake Lively's 2007 premiere look? Sure. But we're guessing that the budding style savant, who works with Elizabeth Saltzman on her wardrobe, scanned some old reference photos from the archives.

While Emily does seem to fancy an everyday pantsuit, this Gucci set, which was finished with a vest jacket and tie, feels more attention-grabbing than most. Lind stood tall in leather platform sandals and wore crystal embellished rings - one adorned with Gucci's signature Gs - as she posed for photos with the rest of her bold and beautiful castmates. If you look back at Blake's own elegant pantsuit, which came with tapered trousers and a blazer she left unbuttoned, there's that similar air of casual-cool - and she even wore a chunky rhinestone ring on her right hand, much like Lind's! Though Blake is more of a pumps queen, her lace heels were clearly just as confidence-boosting back in '07.

Click through to compare both memorable fashion moments and decide for yourself whether this outfit move was intentional. Either way, we think Gossip Girl herself would simply have to take note and report back about it.

Can Evan Mock Look Any Cooler at the Gossip Girl Premiere Red Carpet? (The Answer Is No!)

Evan Mock looked cool as heck with his red carpet outfit for the Gossip Girl premiere. On Wednesday, the actor, who plays Akeno "Aki" Menzies, attended the HBO event wearing a chic Gucci outfit. He wore a beige blazer paired with a baby blue button-down and camel-colored printed pants by the luxury brand. His light pink hair popped against all the colors of his outfit. We particularly loved his accessories. He had fun twirling around his Gucci handbag while posing for pictures and even wore sunglasses and rings from the brand.

Evan's costars also made bold fashion statements. For example, Jordan Alexander wore a Wiederhoeft bridal ensemble. She brought low-rise pants to the red carpet. We're pretty sure the original cast of the show would be impressed by the new crew's outfits. Take a look at Evan's outfit from all angles ahead.

Halle Bailey Shows Us What Ariel's Pink Dress Looks Like in 2021 on Set of The Little Mermaid

Halle Bailey was cast as Ariel in Disney's live-action remake of The Little Mermaid back in 2019, and it appears things are really picking up on set. The crew was spotted in Sardinia, Italy, filming what appears to be the "Kiss The Girl" scene of the original movie from 1989. And yes, we're thinking what you're thinking: "Isn't Ariel's dress blue when she goes out on the boat with Prince Eric?" Uh-huh, you're right. But Ariel also wears a pink ballgown during her stay at the castle later on, so it could just be that American costume designer Colleen Atwood is bringing a twist to the traditional wardrobe from the animation.

She's not the only one - Halle capped off her pink, ruffle and tiered midi, which comes with smocked details at the bodice and poufy sleeves, with a lime green visor and oversize sunglasses. While these were likely her personal essentials for keeping her skin protected from the sun, Halle's accessories prove that she's approaching the role with a modern aesthetic in mind, and her signature style has not been lost on her character. I think we can all agree that everyone's favorite mermaid princess was in need of a makeover anyway, yes? Read on for a second look, and sing with me now: "Sha-la-la-la-la-la, my oh my . . ."
