23 Fall Must Haves That Look Super Luxe and Feel Like a Warm Hug

With October being the month we finally accept that fall has, indeed, arrived, our must haves gear towards the warm and cozy side. With that in mind, we decided to flesh out a list of items we're loving because they're well-made, feel luxe from a textural standpoint, and are comfortable enough to lounge (or go out) in. Our curated shopping picks that "feel like a warm hug" include everything from a delicious and stylish looking spa day candle to a satin and lace nightgown-turned-slip dress.

Of course, there are the obvious basics here, too - sherpas, slippers, and sweats - but you might also discover a few re-interpretations of what a warm hug can be. Laverne Cox's Fabulous Plaid Gown Is a Not-So-Subtle Reminder That It's Finally Fall

Laverne Cox knows how to turn any street into her very own runway. On Sept. 30, the fabulous Promising Young Woman actress stepped out for the New York City Ballet's Fall Fashion Gala in a stunning Christopher John Rogers gown where she struck many a pose before heading in for the event. Her yellow plaid gown featured a zipped-up corset top and a tulle-filled skirt that screamed it's finally fall. She paired the outfit with Cicada Jewelry. As one of the cochairs for this year's event, her festive look did not disappoint.

Laverne was styled by Christina Joy Pacelli, who is to thank for many of the actress's latest looks - including the silver pleated Johanna Johnson dress she wore to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala as well as the bright yellow Christina Ottaviano dress for the Metropolitan Opera's reopening night. Lady Gaga Celebrated Her Album Launch in 2 Glamorous Gowns Designed by Her Own Sister

Lady Gaga is practically the face of Old Hollywood glamour, so her recent looks during a performance celebrating the launch of Love For Sale, her new album with Tony Bennett, may come as no surprise. Yet they were extra special, as they were designed by her own sister, Natali Germanotta, and her new brand Topo Studio.

The talented artist first entered the stage on Sept. 30 wearing a sheer, crystal-embellished number with feathers galore, then changed into a sleek velvet off-the-shoulder gown with glitter details. Both dresses featured leg slits so high, they offered a glimpse of Gaga's unicorn tattoo paired with the words "Born This Way" on her thigh.

Gaga shared photos from the performance to her Instagram on Thursday, writing, "It was a joy to sing for you today, thank you for watching online or joining in person, and for coming together with me to celebrate 'Love For Sale'! @itstonybennett and I are so excited for you to hear our album 🎷🎺!" Cardi B's Fashion Week Outfits Light Up the Streets of Paris Like the Eiffel Tower

If you pay careful attention to Cardi B's Instagram Stories, then you likely enjoyed her dinnertime chatter with Offset. The new parents sat outside at Girafe Restaurant with views straight across to the Eiffel Tower, which was lighting up more often than usual on the night she chose to wear her glitter-all-over Chanel catsuit and beret. We'd argue that Cardi's look on this particular evening shined brighter than any Paris landmark, but the outfits she wore in the days prior showed fierce competition.

They say a dog is a man's best friend, and I believe leggings are a woman's. The comfortable pants have become part of my everyday wardrobe (much to my wallet's dismay), and I rarely ever wear anything else.
