After reading Lucy Hale's interview in Cosmopolitan's March 2020 issue, I was like, "Dang! I like this girl!" The 30-year-old actress and Pretty Little Liars vet is the new star of CW's Katy Keene, for which she constantly dresses up like it's Valentine's Day. But Lucy's style is quite different in real life. Cosmo writer Jessica M. Goldstein spends time with Lucy in New York, where they got piercings and Lucy commented on all things love, sex, fashion, and style. In short, I really like her go-getter attitude. She acknowledges that most people see her as having "that Forever 21 vibe about her," but Lucy has defined her image once and for all:
"A lot of guys don't like a bold lip color. I love a bold lip color. I don't care. I don't care! I truly don't dress for men at all. I dress for me and what I think is cool . . . More masculine stuff is really cool to me. I've never been the girl who's like, 'Ooh, tighter, lower, shorter.' I constantly want to dress like an Olsen twin," she said.
Lucy went on to talk about feeling secure enough to buy herself a special piece of jewelry that might normally be gifted by an SO:
"Okay, so I've wanted that Cartier Love bracelet for a long time. But I was like, Oh, I need to wait for someone to buy it for me. Now, my friends are like, 'No, you buy it yourself.' You've got to reward yourself. Otherwise, what are we doing?"
