Rihanna is doubling down on her promise to make Savage x Fenty accessible to all. After a memorable runway debut a year ago, the lingerie brand will return to New York Fashion Week to present its Fall/Winter 2019 collection. This time, however, the entire show will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
"I couldn't be more excited that everyone will have full access to the Savage x Fenty Show this year! We are working on creating a bold, sexy, super energetic experience for our viewers," the singer-turned-entrepreneur said in a press statement. Though she didn't share specifics, the forthcoming show will feature live performances, celebrity attendees, and plenty of surprises.
The announcement comes as the fate of a similar lingerie runway show, The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, hangs in the air. The Savage x Fenty show will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on Sept. 20. The streaming platform will also release a behind-the-scenes look into the making of the brand's second-ever runway show.
